Signs IS a good movie. It just seems to hit some kind of nerve with some people I've noticed.

The worst movie I've seen recently was Superman Returns. I still can't believe that pseudo-Messianic turkey got mostly good reviews.

I agree with 2/3 of your post. I can see how Signs could be mistaken for a "good" movie, but it's... it's just not. It sounds like you've already heard the diatribe I'm about to launch into, so I'll skip it. The one good part of that movie was when Mel Gibson and Joachin Phoenix were running around the house trying to scare off the "neighbors".

Robocop3 and Weekend at Bernies2 are the 2 worst that I've seen in the theaters. Just godawful.

I know it was a well done movie, but the complete opposite of what I look for in a movie. Titus. I'd rather pull my finernails out with pliers than watch that again... And just about any chick flick... Bleh.

I forgot about the Super Mario Brothers movie.

Also, most of Mel Brooks recent films stink too.
Spaceballs was alright. Men In Tights was bad and Dracula: Dead and Loving it was horrible.

Finally, one of Rodney Dangerfields last movies (The 4th Tenor) was pretty rotten.

Thats it. I dont wanna think about this any more.

That was the biggest pile of crap I've ever tried to watch... And I saw ALL of Ultraviolet! :Q

I've learned not to speak ill of Napoleon Dynamite. Doing so brings out whiny, emo kids who go into trance states watching the movie telling me that I'm a callous, lowbrow, heart dead creep for thinking the movie is lame and boring. It just isn't worth wiping the spittle from my shoes.

I don't know about any of that stuff...I just think it's pretty damn funny when I'm drunk.

Battlefield Earth...i think that was the name...where cavemen jump into Harriers and instantly beat up the aliens...

On top of that, they instantly start up. Airplanes don't need constant maintenance or anything. :disgust:
