Sweet jesus, I don't think I've ever seen it this cold. Lows for tonight:
-7°F
Wind chill: -25°F

I foresee much lovin' from the gas company. :(
I hope they at least send me a gift certificate for some KY Jelly.

The weather has been freaky great here in Berkeley, CA for a few days now. For several days straight we have been breaking record highs for the dates all over the area. On Monday, Santa Rosa (60 miles north) had a high of 84 and the previous high for January 12th was 66! Broke the record by 18 degrees!

Today the high here (in my yard) was 69 F, and it's totally hard to believe. Yesterday in my yard it was 77 F! I've never experienced this kind of weather in mid January. Occasionally in February, never January. It's usually the coldest weather we get here and I'm freezing my ass off. Today was the 5th day in a row with summer-like weather. I went for a long bike ride in my T shirt, no jacket or nothin'. If this were L.A. it wouldn't really be unusual, but for around here it's just off the charts.
