So since we're playing what if, are we talking about a guy who spoke to God & Satan with 2000 year old attitudes?

Or are we talking about a moderized Jesus with 2004 sensibilities?

I have to suggest the attitudes about many things 2000 years ago, even those held by Jesus would make the left seem like the lunatic far right.

I rather suspect that if Jesus was to come again today... what would ensue would be what John saw and recorded in Revalations...
Makes sense to me that one who has the absence of time in his existence knows all about what is going on today and yesterday and tomorrow.. His present contains the Alpha and the Omega and all in between. So... When Jesus did walk about here he knew full well what each of us would be doing at this precise moment in time and, therefore, his simple message was made to transcend the ages.. and it does..

I believe that Jesus would act with love, compassion, and forgiveness.
