A lot of ATOTers are so cynical this is their response to every new movie.
There is absolutely no way that movie is better than Frozen. And RT scores for these kinds of movies usually go down over time as people other than die hard fanboys decide to go.
Aikouka: re: second spoiler tag. I'm sorry you feel that way about LEGO. LEGO is very much about creating, not just pounding out projects while following directions. My kids have about 25lb's of LEGO's that they are free to build whatever they want with. These LEGO's are from the late 80's and the 90's, and still provide countless hours of entertainment for my boys.
It may be a helter-skelter kiddie adventure built out of plastic toy components, but it's fast and original, it's conceptually audacious, it's visually astonishing, and it's 10 times more clever and smart and funny than it needed to be. Here, at last, is an animated comedy that never stops surprising you.
Keep in mind that what I said doesn't reflect my thoughts on how I would use LEGOs. I'm mostly referring to how the big push seems to be toward buying packaged sets where the idea isn't to use your imagination but to follow the instructions. Although, to be fair, that's probably the smart move for the health of the company. I mean... there are only so many huge tubs of LEGOs that you can sell to a kid.![]()
Jesus, this movie just looks all kinds of terrible. I'd rather take my kid to see Frozen again.
This movie is brainwashing our kids to be anti-business. DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS!

The Lego movie I guess does talk about gentrification, conformity, consumerism, a police state society, and a government run by a single corporation...holy shit, I guess it is a subversive movie to brainwash our children. The LEGO Movie has a more interesting conversation about society and culture than Her does.
I really took him posting the link as a joke. If he really believes that....just sad...Ladies and Gentlemen....introducing BILL O'REILLY TO THE FORUMS!
Welcome Bill!
