Well, seeing as how the Hype R is a special limited edition hand-built vehicle and the DSM is a mass-produced sports car (best selling import sports car in America at the time), which is more impressive? Oh, and once you start throwing curves into the equation, the DSM will PWN that FWD POS once again ;) You remember curves, don't you? You know, they're those things that are on virtually EVERY ROAD IN THE WORLD! ;)

Typical ricer response.

I'm game. BTW, "wanna race?" Typical Ricer response;)

LOL, teh funnay! "I live my life 10 seconds at a time. And for those 10 seconds, I'm the king of the world!! Hey, how did Leo Dicaprio get in here! Someone hold him down so I can stomp on his face!" ;) :p

I'm not talking about those FWD POSes ;) It is my contention that the only *real* DSMs are all turbocharged and all AWD :D
Of course, I'd still take a FWD turbo'd DSM over a Honda any day of the week :) At least FWD DSMs have a little thing called TORQUE!STEER

Edited for accuracy.

Meh, I'd rather have torque steer as a result of actually having torque than drive a Honda ;)

And that's impressive? Honda's F20C produces 240hp (S2000) and its K20 200hp (RSX).

Huh? Wanting a 2007 M2 is my business, and I'm just relaying BMW's future plans to whoever reads this dude, not starting a childish squabble for cyber-specification, king-of-the-jungle-gym superiority. That job's apparently been taken several times already.

I was merely commenting on the numbers. I have no problem with you wanting a M2 or whatever else comes out:)

Aight np.

What's a DSM?

Diamond Star Motors, the alliance of Mitsubishi and Chyrsler back in the late 80's/early 90's to produce multiple economic sports cars on the same platform. All DSMs (with the exception of the base model) are powered by the 4G63T 2.0L turbocharged engine, and had either FWD or AWD drivetrains (depending on model). You know them as the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Plymouth Laser, and Eagle Talon.

Answer your question?

So what do you have, an eclipse, laser, or talon? Furthermore, why not say so in the first place? Does DSM sound cooler?

Well, if you knew anything about DSMs you would know that they're all the EXACT SAME CAR so it doesn't matter who makes it. BTW, I drive a Talon, and I used to drive an Eclipse ;)

Oh, way to ignore my comparison as well ;) Whatsamatta? No response to that? Kinda hard to be impressed by a hand-built vehicle when it's no better than (and, in fact, gets PWNed by) a mass-produced vehicle, eh?

Ricers drive POSs - domestic, import, it doesn't matter. And ricers do drive in the "twisties" ... they just call themselves "Drifters" and blast Jap-Pop instead of gangsta rap.

Hello? You asked for an N/A FWD 4-banger that's classed as a sports car. You got the ITR. It is a sports car. No, that riceburner can't beat your riceburner. But it's still a sports car.

How do i get this through your sh*t filled skull. You drive a mitsushitty. You know, the one where the engine crankwalks for no reason. You spent 7k on a crap car to keep it from disintegrating. You could have THROWN AWAY your car AND bought nutbucket's car, complete with mods, with that money. You think you drive a sports car even though you have an automatic. One of the other DSM guys in this thread said his ran 16.4, the epitome of face distorting power.

If anyone in this thread is a ricer, it's you. You're like one of those retarded people who doesn't even know they're retarded.

Because you drive a Honda.

Guess Flyermax2k3 should brush up on domestic/foreign content of his DSM. Might have been assembled in the States but I bet the content isn't much different from a Honda in terms of domestic/foreign. And what *is* domestic is from Chrysler Craporation.

And an automatic?? Any enthusiast driver wouldn't be caught DEAD driving an automatic.
