I do believe the intro to the book says "stronger people are happier no matter what they do in life"

So according to the book, you want to be strong so that you can be happy.

You, sir, are correct.

lol @ the logic. While true for the most part, I think I could lose a little on the strength gains for a leaner, sleeker body. All I'd have to do is wax it and off I go ^^

hehe in all honesty, a bit off topic but I have been happier since i have started the routine, and noticed my moods change when i am not able to work out.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Definitely true, noticed a big change in my attitude/confidence and I am upset when I miss workouts. It's funny, at first I was worried that I'd lose motivation and get fat/lazy again, but now I am constantly thinking about training/fitness. If only I was the same with my diet (that is the next step).

Here's my diet thus far, (jeep in mind I am pretty much on a cut trying to lower my bf% which hovers around 19%)

7a.m.
2 hard boiled eggs - 24g protein
2 pieces of wheat toast with peanut butter

roughly 400 calories

10:00am to 1100am Workout

11:00am
1 scopp of protien powder
100 cals plus 26g protien

12pm
Grilled chicken breast sandwich 8oz 400 cals 38g protein

3pm
Tuna fish sandwich (6oz) on wheat bread 43gr protein 400 cal (including bread)

6pm
dinner (whatever the wife makes)
roughly 500 - 600 cals unsure of proteins
1 protein shake 100 cals 26g protein

that's pretty much my weekday diet.

on the weekends I am a bit less disciplined.

:D

Looks good rasczak. Has it been effective for you in cutting? What about carbs? I want to do something similar starting late August after I move (moving in with GF to another city). I figure it's time to lose the gut.

thus far i've lost approx 8lbs. I started this diet not too long ago, but i can't remember when. I'd probably guestimate taht i've been eating like this for about a month. I've definitely trimmed fat, but I have not measured my bf % since may21, so i'm prbably due for one. As far as carbs, I've tried to stay away from carb heavy foods and maintained a higher protein to carb ratio. somewhere along the lines of 1.5 to 1 protein to carbs.
