What kind of hot sauce? For burritos, I like El Yucateco green, or one of the Costa Rican habanero sauces.
Green and red from the place I got the burrito. I love El Yucateco. I got their Habenaro and grilled Pineapple last month it's outstanding if you like heat with some sweet.

Got stabbed by a pine needle under my finger nail and it hurts like hell. I was wearing gloves too but one actually got inside I guess. Think it got semi infected so it's taking longer to heal.

I got a... spicy quote for what I expected to be a relatively small amount of plumbing work

1. Set customers sink. Connect to the existing 2" vent for both in basement , 2 x 1 1/2" san-tee, 1 1/2" "90" , 10 ft 1 1/2"PVC, 1 1/2" trap, 1 1/2 x 12 tailpiece extension.
2. Starting at the water heater, run 1/2" copper hot and cold , 2 each 3/4" x 1/2" tees, 6 each 90's, 2 angle stops, 2 lavsupplies. 40 ft 1/2 " copper ( see drawing )
3. Cut into 3/8" propane line in basement ceiling. 3/8" comp tee, 3/8" valve , 30ft 3/8" copper , 3/8 drop ear ell.

Job cost
$3,636.93

Does that seem reasonable?

That does seem really steep, but all those fittings and pipe do add up I guess then add labour costs. Everything just costs so much now days it's insane. Was looking at insulation and WTF. $100+ for a single bundle of Roxul now days. We are being robbed by inflation.

This was a few days ago but accidentally put a few holes in my tent. I guess I really should have moved it when the fire got this big lol.

We were working through some wood piles from when they cleared the land, original plan was to keep the wood and buck it for firewood, but most of it was not really suitable firewood and was soaking wet from sitting out in the open and it was just easier to toss everything in burn pile than to start cutting all branches and separating logs. We kept a few of the better ones and that's it. At some point that fire was really roaring, that pic is when we took a break so it died down.

Also realized it's futile trying to do it all by hand. So much back and forth walking with branches. Either need to come up with a way to haul more at once, maybe a large float of sorts I can pull with the ATV, or just rent an excavator. The cutting is not the hard part, it's the hauling.

You could get a rope winch, build a sledge and haul big piles around limited only by the length of rope you have. Good winches are expensive, but you'll always have it.

Was thinking something like that, or just use the ATV. Basically just need to build a trailer/wagon I can then pull with it. I'd be somewhat limited to weight unlike a winch but still less trips than carrying by hand.

Winch is an idea too, even a 12v one would do, I would set it up on a dolly so it's easy to move around and the dolly would house the battery and accessories too and it would also be itself tied up to a tree or something. I'd setup a remote so I can be away from the firing range of cable if it snaps. I'd end up using that rig for all sorts of things, like even raising walls when I start my build.

I have been setting money aside for a new car. I got a small inheritance, not much but enough to put a large down payment on the car I wanted.

A few days ago I was trying to figure out how much I could afford with financing, insurance and still paying on my student loans. I had the car picked out. After a few beers and figuring out how much I was going to be paying on interest on my student loans I said FUCK IT. I paid off my student loans. Then I paid every credit card I have off, which wasnt a lot ( I am responsible) Then I paid off my phones.

I was happy. I didnt owe anyone anything.

I got home and went to make sure all my payments went through and t-mobile says I don't get bill credits for my trade ins now. My student loans say I have one more payment for interest or some crap.

Yeah better off paying that off. I consider myself lucky I graduated with profit, never took loans in college and would work a summer job.

That's why I got another used truck, trying to pay off my mortgage and credit line before I go into debt for a vehicle. Well still ended up adding to the debt but 11k is better than like 80k.
