I booked hotel stay at a Holiday Inn through booking.com because it was cheaper than booking directly.
Found out Holiday Inn has a rewards program so i called to try to add my stay.
I only have my booking.com confirmation #.
person on the phone looked up hotel place and dates to get my Holiday Inn confirmation #.
She said i have to wait till a few days after my stay is over to get the stay added.
So it's now a few days since my stay ended and i called only to find out that since i booked through a 3rd party that i dont get points.
Why the heck didnt the 1st person say that?
hm.. i guess this isnt a 1stworldproblem but just a slight post-vacation rant
