Yeah I would give it more time. When I lost my cat I gave myself a good couple months. I was even debating on if I even want another cat or not. I realized it was time when I started to have dreams that I got a new cat and was exited then I'd wake up kind of sad that it was only a dream. I ended up getting two and it was the best decision since they keep each other company so I feel less bad leaving them alone for 12 hours at a time when I'm working.

Telus seems to be having network issues and for some reason everybody is calling me about it. I even had a call from Telus themselves to report a circuit down. I think the problem is at their end! Classic ISP shenanigans.

Kind of a "twofer" today...doing the same basic job...putting the little foam insulators behind wall outlets.
1. Moved my TV stand to get to a couple of outlets and jacks behind it. Got done, went to move it back in place...POW! Pulled some muscle just below my ass. (sciatica here we go!)
2. Found a couple of outlets were lose behind the wall plated. Grabbed one to hold it in place while I tightened the screw...POW! Finger slipped and hit one of the screws on the side of the outlet...<tingle!> Not quite enough to give me a "Don King hairdo," but enough to get my attention.

Drain on the dehumidifier was leaking. Fast forward, the threads on the dehumidifier are stripped, I've cut my hand and the dehumidifier is leaking.

And I kicked a bag of 15-0-15 when I cut my hand....it split open.

This could have turned into my first world problem if it exploded but it didn't so this is more my neighbours'... just noticed they forgot to empty their pool and it's solid ice now. I wonder if the pool material had enough stretch to it that it didn't get damaged or maybe it froze bottom first since heat rises. It's an above ground pool. I guess the kids can play hockey on it now lol.

^ It probably froze top first, because heat rises and because water gets less dense as it freezes so it floats to the top.

I went in for my one week post op exam for my cataract surgery...they didn't warn me in advance they were gonna dilate my eyes. (or maybe they did when they set the appt. and I forgot)
I HATE having my eyes dilated...it really screws up my day.
