I've seen what happens when others do this

I have a special technique I've perfected over many years to deal with this type of BS. ;)

eatin a frozen Ghost Pepper chicken Chimichanga. Wasn't expecting it to be so spicy it would have me out of commission in pain. But I thought at least it would outdo a jalapeno by a decent margin. Nope, eating a jalapeno's more spicy than this. Company's need to stop the damn Ghost Pepper/Scorpion labeling of products when the shit's mildly spicy at best.

Try a REAL and fresh ghost or scorpion pepper along with all the seeds (and chew it up!!!) then we'll re-visit the above after you recover.

Carolina Reaper's are no joke either!

Truth is that the vast majority of people who claim to "love spicy food" think Franks Red Hot sauce = spicy.

;)

I don't want to eat a Carolina Reaper straight, but if I see Reaper in the name of a food, I do want something that's going to a lot spicier than a damn Jalapeno. I can eat Habaneros straight, which might be weak shit compared to a Ghost Pepper, but still too hot for all but a few people.

A good example of a product that does it right is Paqui's Haunted Ghost Pepper chips. Maybe nothing compared to their One Chip pepper challenge one, but when I buy a bag nobody who's tried one has wanted another lol. Those chips are legit HOT and unless you're some crazy chili head you will suffer from eating them. But everything else I've bought with Ghost or Reaper in the name has failed miserably to live up to being spicy whatsoever.

It might come as a surprise, but "spicy" =| "hot."

I like both spicy AND hot...just not "stupidly hot."
Jalapenos and Serranos are about my comfort limit. I CAN eat habaneros...but they're just too hot to enjoy.

Agreed .... heat without flavor is pointless and "spicy" can mean it tastes like anything.

I have a slightly higher limit then you but only a little bit... I LOVE habanero's!

This is directly related to my earlier "Franks Red-Hot" comment.

Exotic pepper's (Ghost etc) are "trendy" right now and the majority of people who claim to like really hot food actually don't.

Hence MOST "hot and spicy" sauces and foods are in reality only moderately strong.

Yeah if it's a big name brand and has something "hot" and or "spicy" I always prepare myself for disappointment. Food tends to be geared towards people with no exposure to spice. There is a small local place though that won't let you try their hot spice level unless you've eaten there before and they go two levels beyond that. All kinds of "no refund" warnings too. I love that place

I've never had commercially prepared food that was too hot. There's been a couple times it was close, and "close" is defined as "perfect". Those were at restaurants. Any kind of frozen or snack food, I'm impressed if I get any sensation of heat. They're all pretty much a joke.

There used to be a place in Fairfield CT called Chili-Bombs which (shockingly) specialized in chili.

It was pricy for what you got but was also very good.... their hottest chili was extreme. I had it a couple times and was ABLE to get it down but it was not pleasant at all.

Forgot the password to my router. Went to 192.168.0.1 and was asked to login with my TP-Link username and password. Hit "forgot password," hoping it would email me the password and instead a dialog box popped up telling me to "hold the reset button on your router to restore the device to factory settings." Thanks TP-Link. Very helpful.

Is the original password printed on the back or side of the router?

"admin" would almost certainly be the default username.

Did you 100% set a custom password?

Because if not it MIGHT be blank & if so SHAME on you lol ... it also might be whatever the "default" password is in the manual. (if they set one)

And if none of the above works just reset the router like the super-helpful tech-support told you to do. Not like its that hard to re-configure! (also usually you can back up your settings and restore them with a few clicks but you would have had to run backup ahead of time)

EDIT: I don't really like using the Android app that's available to configure my Linksys router BUT it would bail you out of this situation easily by allowing a password reset without changing anything else.

Amazon delivery has started to go downhill. Lately they don't even bother ringing the doorbell, they just leave the package on the front step, which, being an urban area, is just right to the sidewalk, and we have lots of package theft. I have instructions in the delivery that if nobody answers the doorbell, to place it over the black gate to the side of the front door. This has worked many many times before, but they have apparently just stopped caring.

Had a package that must have been stolen from last Friday, and today I just happened to find another package just sitting at the front door when I went out to run an errand. They never even bothered ringing the bell nor followed the simple instructions to place it over the gate. I have a ring doorbell so I know if someone rings the bell whether I am home or not.

Amazon always replaces these things free and fast, but the issue is I have stuff coming I need for a camping trip this weekend, like my dog's sleeping bag for example, and I just can't wait to get replacements if they don't come on time.

^UPS and FEDEX always followed my instructions. Amazon is prefers the dump and dash method.

I finally found a hardwood table top for my sit-stand desk at Amazon. It reached my local warehouse on Friday. Today I got a message from them saying that if it isn't delivered by Tuesday, I should re-order - WTF??

This morning a foolish squirrel blew himself up on the power transformer outside my house. A resounding bang shattered the morning calm.
3 or 4 nearby houses were plunged into darkness for an hour or so. Back to the stone age for us.
Power co. was prompt in responding to our called-in outage.
Utility repairman stood at the base of the telephone pole, and pushed a long telescoping probe up to the transformer and magically flipped the power back on. Or so it appeared.
Squirrel lies where he fell.

RIP little guy.

My first world problem is that I was stuck having to move a big heavy freezer up some awkward steep stairs. On a work day to boot. It's not the only thing I've had to move in the past few days either. I never realized buying a truck meant I was signing up to be a mover. This kind of stuff is a constant thing ever since.

Broke the glass of my French press so I'll need to use my other French press until I can get a new one. :(

It's part of the unwritten rules of truck ownership.

Gotta learn how to white lie your way to unavailability.

I do that a lot too actually. Sometimes I just say I'm working. For a lot of stuff I just lend the truck but when it's something heavy then they still want me involved.

At least they paid for my gas last time, so there's that.

I broke multiple French press glasses before getting myself a copper one and never looking back. Not sure why I ever bought a glass one. Copper one can go on the drying rack without worrying about other dishes smashing into it.
