I only buy sparkling water aside from "emergencies" where the water I'm carrying ran out. Gerolsteiner is my favorite plain water. It's bold and flavorful. Flavored water I'm not particular, but I try to avoid Nestlé products.

You're gonna mock an invalid? That's low.

invalids exist solely so we can mock them...

had 3 pizza dough balls that had been cold fermenting in the fridge for 3 days. Pulled them out to make pizzas this evening. Fired up my pizza oven and 60 seconds later the pizza was ready. I was expecting the cornicione (outer crust) to be light and airy. But all 3 came out with super thick and dense ones. And I didn't any more dough balls so I could remake better ones. And I was super hungry, so I choked it down as is :( The other 2 were made for friends, and they came out identical. So they also got stuck with very sub-par Neopolitan pizzas.

I haven't had to order vape juice since March...unbeknownst to me, the State of Washington has levied a tax on vape products/ $0.09 per ml of liquid, tax of 50% of the retail price for devices.

Fckn highway robbery!

That's insane. I hate taxes just for the sake of taxes. People already pay enough tax as it is. Wonder how hard it is to make your own juice, could look it up maybe and can always go that route.

I don't usually back my car into the garage, but I did yesterday. After getting in, I thought, "I hope the door doesn't hit my hood when it closes. Nah, it'll be fine."

Well, the door hit it. Left a tiny dent and a couple of scratches on the hood, but nothing major. That's life, I guess...

Returned home from a 2 week vacation yesterday. Didn't have anything to cook so we ordered dinner (we cooked during the vacation so we weren't burned out on restaurants). Buffalo Wild Wings is close by, the kids like it, and I have lots of points so it was easy and cheap. Turns out that BWW was completely out of chicken wings so we had to get boneless instead.

The promise of utopia requires...sacrifice of blood and sweat, with no promise utopia actually arrives(except for the well-paid gov employees.

Evian specifically doesn't and there are a few others which are what they claim to be on the label for source like Fiji. Still mostly just a scam though.

Should have gone with San Pellegrino.

I actually did :D They had that and Fiji water, so got a case of both. Event was a huge success BTW!

As much water as Stewart Resnick says it does.

I can tell you this- I used to LOVE Fiji water back in the early 2000's. It had a velvety mouthfeel that was very unique and came in glass bottles. My understanding is the silica particles in the area caused the unique sensation. The Fiji water I just had is nothing like it...in fact it tasted like any other bottled water. Either they used up all of the original springs or something scammy is going on.

Either is possible .... can certainly see the incentive to fake that stuff for what they charge. After all the majority of "spring-water" comes right out of the water-company spring!

Is your bottled water coming from a faucet?

Also possible that it sat around and/or got hot a few times which is awesome for stuff in plastic bottles.

Exposed to heat, plastic bottles may become unsafe

No the smoky skies, had some pretty nice shots, but it randomly stopped recording at some point. I went back to try again and realized it was only recording like 10 seconds at a time then stopping on it's own. All the resulting files were corrupt. Not sure what's going on, since I recorded something fine on the same SD card an hour before.

Thankfully that did not happen when I took pics and video of the property though...

I tend to just take a video then screencap what I like as the videos are actually higher quality than if I use the still mode.

SD card gone bad?
I'd suggest a fake SD card, except you say you successfully used it before. But maybe it developed a bad sector or something?

Sandisk and it's fairly new too. I'll have to troubleshoot it further, it seems to be fine writing files to it within Linux. Might be the drone or the app acting up too. The app was acting super slow, like I was trying to manually stop a recording and it was not responding to me clicking the stop button and overall just acting really finicky. Next time I will try another SD card just to rule out the card.

We had to have our oldest dog put down today. We got him in August 2007, and he was right at 14 1/2 years old.

He had been slowing down for sometime now, and everything was normal with him up until last night when I fed him. After eating, he began hemorrhaging blood out of his nose, and it lasted for several hours. There was blood everywhere. It really, really sucked and came out nowhere. Up until it happened, he was doing his normal stuff.

We got him (a Border Collie) from the pound when our kids were 6 and 7 years old, and now they're going into their sophomore and junior years in college. As sad as my wife and I are, it really hit the kids the hardest. They at least they got to spend a few extra hours with him until the animal hospital opened up (and thankfully the bleeding stopped and it didn't happen again before he was put to sleep).

All I know is I am just mentally and physically exhausted as I got about 2.5 hours of sleep last night.

I think I had a mild case of food poisoning today but I rode with my buddy in NYC for close to 30 miles. Besides the exercise and enjoying the amazingness of that crazy city, it's all about eating some really great food. Instead I had to watch my buddy eat some amazing afghan kebabs and food while I just drank water and had the liquid shits in that places bathroom. at least I got the ride in though. some magical views in the city.
