I’m dining at Dairy Queen. They’re playing 80s music. So far Theme from Greatest American Hero and Rosanna. This crap is going to stick in my head. Now the Heart of Rock and Roll.

I'm not sure eating at a Dairy Queen qualifies in any way as "dining," but sometimes I do miss some of their treats...like a Peanut Buster Parfait.

The raspberry fudge blizzard is quite tasty.

I knew I-5 sucks in California but today I learned that it also sucks in Oregon.

So that trouble I was working on all day. It might be on the customer's end. In a way, I hope it's not because I will be so pissed that I did all that running around for nothing. The satellite one is at our end though, but I think that will have to wait either way. They'll have to charter a plane. Confirmed the issue is probably at the far end earth station.

So glad this day is done. I'm home now. If I didn't have to go to bed early I'd be popping open a bottle of wine right now.

Dairy Queen is always a treat when we pass through Sudbury. The one in Chelmsford is practically an institution, with that retro glass fishbowl front area. I wonder if it's still like that, been so long since the last time I've been.

Me and my dad always get the Banana split. It's a classic.

Way back in the day, like before I was born, we actually had one here. Big building with red roof, then it got converted into a convenience store, then it got torn down and it's a hotel now. There was a year where building hotels here was a thing, we got at least like 5 in one year. There must have been some kind of government incentive for it or something, because this is not exactly a touristy area. I guess it is for people down south who don't have much access to nature.

Took last Thursday and Friday off from work(paid vacation time)...

Also, last Thursday was my 38th birthday.

Now I'm struggling to get back into this getting up early idea.

Amazed I didn't put my shirt on inside-out, or something else equally embarrassing.

Either Nokia lied about my phone supporting AT&T 4G, or AT&T lied about my phone supporting AT&T 4G. Either way I am being forced to upgrade my phone.

I've been seeing mice droppings in my kitchen out in the open (previously just in the cupboard for a long time) so I put a live-trap enclosure down and at midnight last night I hear it snap shut. Jackpot. This morning I take the trap to the local park miles away (I was driving by anyway). I walk it over to release among a bunch of bushes and a tree but it decided instead to run past me back toward and ACROSS the empty concrete parking lot (except for my car). You guessed it... it couldn't find any shelter other than near my car. I lost it after it went underneath, probably up the wheel well. F@$#! - so I couldn't do anything but drive back home (on the highway) with this thing likely still under my car somewhere.

I parked my car on the street as opposed to in my driveway... hopefully it finds another house to wander into.
