Still waiting on the phone case I ordered from Aliexpress. It's been one month since it was shipped. I dropped my phone already once since ordering.
I'm assuming that means it's coming from China? Yeah shipping from there takes goddamn ages. I ordered Bluetooth earbuds from a Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaign and they shipped from China; goddamn it took weeks for them to get to me in Michigan.

My vape device started leaking when I refill it a few days ago. I have no idea why. At first I thought it was leaking through the air holes in the bottom of the tank but I don't think so, I looked closely last time I filled it and it didn't seem like it was leaking from there. It looked like it was leaking from the bottom seam of the tank (you can unscrew the top and bottom) but I can't see how, there's no big seam or holes anywhere! It's frickin weird. But man what a mess it is trying to clean up that e-juice; it's not just like water where a simple wipe with a napkin or something cleans it up. It's more viscuous than that and kinda smears around; you definitely need water to really clean it up, not just wiping with a paper towel or something.

So I found another device that looks ok and ordered it yesterday; it was shipped already and should be here tomorrow! At least that's good.

Yes, from China. It shipped Sept 17 and was "accepted by last mile carrier" on Sept 24. I would imagine that means it landed in customs on the 24th. I'm kind of surprised it has not arrived yet since it has been in the US for the last 3 1/2 weeks.

Yeah if I remember right it took longest going through customs, or whatever the process was. I think it was around a month or so total wait time.

I'm not sure. Maybe. On the tank bottom that you can screw off, there's like a rubber (or silicone) gasket that helps seal it, but that looks fine to me. I'll probably take a closer look tonight. Unfortunately it's not just an o-ring, which I might have an extra of.

It's just weird, because it only happens when I fill the tank. Once I wipe up the leaking stuff (which takes a few wipes, cause after wiping the first leaking juice up some more seeps out, and I wipe that, and a little bit more seeps, and that's it) it doesn't leak anymore, even when the tank is full! Strange. That's why I thought I was overflowing it or something but that's not the case. A good case for Unsolved Mysteries! o_O

So turns out they mailed me a cheque for my stocks instead of direct deposit... Still not sure why I didn't get it after over a month. I will need to double check my recycling when I get home in case I accidentally tossed it with junk mail.

I guess our power loss was a fwp, since it was repaired in less than an hour. When my BIL was in Nepal, the power would be down for days.

Mother scratcher. So my new vape device comes in today (Eleaf Basal), I fill it with some 50/50 PG/VG juice (making sure to wet the atomizer as recommended in instructions, as well as let it sit for like 10 mins to soak even more), take a hit, and... totally fucking burnt taste, like I smoked a goddamn cotton ball or something. Ugh. It's a sub ohm coil, 0.7 ohm, and with my previous, leaking device which had a 0.35 ohm coil I used 50/50 juice which worked great.

So I watched some reviews of it on YouTube and a couple of the guys were using nic salt liquid so I dumped it the tank and tried some of that. Still burnt as fuck but there was a hint of the normal taste you'd expect. Taking more vapes didn't seem to do much.

I guess I'll try the 1.5 ohm coil tonight and see if that works.

I fucking hate all the bullshit associated with vaping: wattage, resistance, normal juice, nic salt juice, PG/VG mixtures, a million different atomizer/coil types, etc. I just want a goddamn simple thing you put juice in that works. I actually picked up a Suorin Air cause I wanted something before that one I ordered arrived and goddamn! That thing is great and really simple. It did recommend at least 60% VG liquid, which normally I don't like cause I seem to get a slight burnt taste in the (multiple) devices I've used it in, but I happened to have a couple bottles still laying around.

So I'm semi happy; I really hope the higher resistance coil works or I'm bringing that mother fucker to the range next time and smoking it.

This vaping thing sounds complicated. Wouldn't it be easier to just quit smoking? ;)

if it was only that easy...

clamum, I got my first sub-ohm device earlier this year. After doing my usual OCD-level research, I bought a Vaporesso Armor kit with the Vaporesso Cascade tank. Wow...coming from a Nautilus tank and coils, this thing is almost miraculous. I still vape my usual 24mg 50/50 juice...

Washed my lightweight sheets and put them away today so I can put the flannel sheets on my bed. Still haven't put the flannel sheets on and it's almost bedtime.

I did the same thing yesterday. Got my flannel sheets on, but the jerseys are still dirty on the floor aside from the pillow cases. Didn't want to do more than one load of wash, and it all wouldn't have fit. I'll do them next week.

How can anyone sleep on flannel sheets...unless you sleep buck nekkid? I HAVE to have a shirt on at night. (t-shirt, tank top in summer months) Flannel sheets bind me up and I can't turn over, can't move.
Down comforter, and MAYBE an electric mattress pad during the cold months.

I put the 1.5 ohm resistance coil in the Basal device and bam, mother scratcher works great. With that using the 1.5 ohm coils and that other little Suorin Air device, I feel like I've found the best devices I've had since I started vaping about 4 years ago. I need to gather up all the old vape crap I have and see if I can sell it for cheap.

Hmmm. I think my new vape, the Eleaf Basal one, already has a cashed out atomizer/coil. I got this thing Saturday and started using it that night, and yesterday evening, for the first time, I noticed a slight "burnt" taste, like the coil was going. BRUH. Please don't tell me these f'ing atomizers are gonna last a whole two days. It's not a real strong taste so I'm gonna keep going with the current one in there.

I swear I read a review where some guy said he got three weeks out of the atomizers (that's more in line with my previous devices)! We'll see. But figures, I get something I think I like, and now it might have crap atomizer life. I should just gather up all my vape crap and throw it the fuck away. Sure can be a hassle at times.

After over a month I STILL did not get my corporate shares. At this point I'm really starting to worry. I still don't get why they went and sent me a cheque instead of direct deposit. I will call tomorrow, I really hope I can get that cheque cancelled and that I'm not out 7 grand. Then I will ask them to make sure it gets direct deposited this time.

Yeah, the atomizer was cashed. After just 2-3 days. I have some more atomizers I bought for it, and I will not be happy if they all only last that long (you can get bunk ones that last less than the normal time). I'm crossing my fingers but don't have much hope. I should just go back to cigs.

I ised to get 2-3 weeks out of the coils in my Nautilus. Switched to the Vaporesso Armor and Cascade tank...last coil went over 5 months with no noticeable reduction in cloud or flavor. o_O I was shocked...kept expecting ot to clog or burn out...nope. Finally, out of curiosity, I changed it. The old one was gunked up to the point where it probably wasn't as efficient...but still worked better than the Nautilus tank did with new coils.

Must've been a special phone case if you're ordering from there. Why not just get one from Amazon?

I ordered some specific $2 velcro strips from Wish (shipped from China and took 5+ weeks) only because this stuff is twice the price here, and I didn't need it right away.

Wow, yeah that is really impressive. I usually have gotten around 3-4 weeks (I'm kinda lax about it, I don't mind some reduction in flavor), historically with the devices I've used.

I sent an email to Eleaf asking them about atomizer life so I'll see. There's no way in feces I'm using this device if atomizer life is a few days; that'd be expensive to keep running. Great. If so, another device to add to my junk drawer. :-/

Oh, what type of liquid did you use in the Vaporesso? Do you know the PG/VG mix for it? Just curious.
