You have more help than your sister, right? Unless it's some kind of paperboard piano, you'll need more than a short ginger and a girl to move it.

Ok so that turned out to not be so bad. And yeah there were more people. 3 more adults and 2 kids (one of which is into lifting and lifts more than I do lol) I thought we were moving it to another house and it had to go in my truck, but it was only going to the neighbour's garage. So only a couple stairs to go down and never had to lift it super high.

Still gonna feel that one tomorrow though, but at least did not have to try to lift it into the truck or anything.

F'ing people at work and f'ing leaving tons of food in the f'ing fridge so there's no f'ing room in the goddamn thing. People bring in big quantities of food (not a juice for the day, a 12 pack of juice, etc etc) as well as leave food in there for weeks. The things reeks cause of food left in there. And since I'm usually one of the last people into the office in the morning, there's no room unless the fridge has recently been cleaned. Ugh goddamn people.

The power went out here in downtown Portland,OR last night.

A PGE substation about a block from my apartment building went down due to a faulty wire.About 3,600 people were affected.

So,my power was out from 10:00 PM PST,to 1:00 AM PST.

(had a real fun time resetting my Comcast gateway modem at 1:00 AM,when I'm half-asleep...)

Hoping it won't be a busy morning at work,as I'm pretty tired.

That would be a partial solution. However I'm not a morning person and I fail at getting out of bed. I mean I'm there after everyone leaves but yeah, I'd have a spot if I got in earlier. Combine hating getting out of bed with hating going to work and yeah... I has a problem.

I've been having to go to the other side of the floor to that kitchen's refrigerator sometimes. It's funny, there's almost as many people on that side of the floor as my side (minus two or three maybe?) but their fridge is nearly empty, lol. I guess most of them go out to eat.

Got up super late for work. It wasn't even because I turned my alarm off and fell back asleep, I just kept hitting the snooze and didn't realize how long I had done it (about an hour, rofl). But I took a quick shower and was able to get into work at my normal time, amazingly enough. I wouldn't have hit the snooze so many f'ing times if I hadn't gone to bed so goddamn late (I've gotten around 4 hours or less sleep each night Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). I'm not even doing anything constructive at night, just watching YouTube/Netflix! Frickin dumbass.

No heat in my apartment unit after the building transitioned from A/C to heat. Had to file a work order to get it turned on.

I looked at the clock near my bed several times before deciding to get up, and etc. I wanted to get 8+ hours of sleep. Uh, I did, if you can call that sleep. Note: Nobody sleeps solidly throughout the night. NOBODY. We're not built like that... 1st, 2nd or 3rd world.

Autopay FTW.

Yeah can't imagine having to manually pay bills. I rather have all that stuff set and forget. The only one that I have to do manually, which is super annoying, is my server hosting for my websites. For whatever reason they don't support auto pay. Stupidest thing for a server provider. But it was a super good deal, rare you can find a dedicated server for under $100/mo. I just make sure to always pay 3-6 months in advance. Would suck to forget and lose that server not to mention the downtime and having to reconfigure everything on a new one.

For some reason I don't trust autopay. I always pay all of my bills around the 10th of each month, and I always review my accounts at that time too (investment, CC activity, CreditKarma). I guess it helps that I don't have much to pay - three credit cards, electric, internet, and mortgage.

Oh man, I lost heat a couple winters ago during like the coldest week of the winter. It was ridiculously cold, in the tens of negatives with wind chill I'm pretty sure. Woke up and it was like 50 degrees in my apartment, lol. Called the 24/7 support and the guy was there actually in a reasonable amount of time and had it fixed in like 15 minutes.

I don't really care for it either. I autopay my rent every month (well actually since I went to month-to-month I no longer do, but it used to just come out of my checking account) but I don't do that for any of my credit cards or anything else. I want to review my statements every month to make sure they're all legit. If I would've had my AMEX card on autopay I would've been paying a bunch of money towards bogus purchases made by someone who had gotten my old credit card number (yes, they could charge on an old CC# that was obsolete due to it being compromised, fucking GENIUS), and never would have known it. No thanks, I can take a little bit of time to check statements and submit a payment.

We have almost everything on autopay. Mortgage, car payments, insurance, internet, garbage...the only things I WON'T put on autopay are my water/ sewer bill...and credit card since we almost never just pay the minimum payment.

Never had an issue with autopay. I have a good 10-20 various bills between taxes, utilities, etc, would hate to juggle all that manually. Credit card is manual though. There's an option to pay off the full balance which I setup but I never seen it actually work, maybe it waits the very last minute to process it. I don't like leaving a balance on it that long so I end up paying it myself.

One thing that would be nice though is if all the bills would let me choose exactly when they come out, but each company does it differently. Would be nice to have all the bills come out say, on the 1st of every month. Some let you choose, but not all.

Maybe you can pick a date that works. Not all of my bills are due on the same date, but I pick a date (10th of each month) and either pay or schedule payments for the future all at once.

That's the thing they don't all let you do that. Some have some flexibility but not all. It would be nice to just be able to make them all come out at the same time. Not a HUGE deal though, I have overdraft and it just goes into the credit line so there's no extra charge for it.

Speaking of overdraft... I'm like 15k in the hole right now. I don't know why it's taking so long for my corporate shares to come through. I need to figure out how to contact that department tomorrow when I start work. I took out 7k worth of shares so I can at least pay off a chunk of my truck and it's been at least a month now.

I really hope it did not go to my old bank account or something. I don't have access to that account anymore since I closed it.

Meh, had a Northeaster swing through last night - no problem. Now at 4pm, when the storm's moved on, the power goes out. Who’s brilliant idea was it to hang power lines from poles instead of burying them underground?

Still waiting on the phone case I ordered from Aliexpress. It's been one month since it was shipped. I dropped my phone already once since ordering.

We're lucky in my area, power outages never last more than an hour or two, with the oddball 4+ hour one that is normally planned maintenance. I really should look at getting a generator though, or at least find a way to deal with freezing rain on my solar panels. When we get freezing rain it puts them out of service for the rest of the year as it creates a thick snow crust that is irremovable. If I could figure out a way to get that crust off I'd at least have power year round. Maybe only like 7 hours per day most of the year, but it should be enough to at least run a couple heaters near water pipes if there is an extended outage. Water pipes are really the biggest concern with extended outages.
