OK, here's a good "First World Problem" rant:
I spent about seven years of my life helping to develop software for companies like KFC and Popeyes that would tell them when to cook fried chicken so they wouldn't run out of product when they got busy. It had a fairly advanced algorithm that looked at past sales patterns from their POS system, and did a pretty good job of letting them when to cook so that they had fresh product in stock all of the time.
We tried selling this software to KFC in the USA, and they said that it was too expensive. Instead, I guess that they were saving their money to develop this:
store.steampowered.com
Yeah. Think about that one the next time you go to KFC and they're out of your favorite kind of fried chicken.
