I don't know why the alarm on my Echo Show sometimes doesn't go off. It's weird, because it ALWAYS goes off in the morning for work. But a lot of times it won't go off when I set it after midnight for the afternoon that day, on the weekends when I can sleep in. However it seems to go off when I set it for earlier afternoon, say 1:50 pm. But a lot of the times it just doesn't go off for 2:00 pm or later, or actually noon (it's failed multiple times at this time).

I'm sure it sounds psycho but I'm srs. It's not because I forget to set it either. I'd say it has something to do with setting the alarm after midnight, for later that day, but it's not just that simple. I dunno. Maybe I'll email Amazon and ask wtf is up.

It just won't quit raining. Every single fucking day. So sick of this miserable weather. Reminds me of the year I was trying to build my shed. Same shit. it was December by the time it was cold enough so the rain just turned to snow so at least I could work.

This year I'm trying to build my deck. That's probably going to be a December job too at this rate.

Wtf is the matter with her? Sounds like you need to talk to her by hand...
She ain't deaf.

Actually their dark roast beans are the strongest I've been able to find. Caffeine levels..no idea but I want it to taste like mine's moving in the cup.

Quervo worms don't count.

Meh, Upchucks in (in my esteemed opinion) quite possibly the worst coffee in the USA. Badly over-priced and over-roasted to the point where it tastes burnt.

Maybe. When I was off caffeine, I was given a bag of blue mountain...I'd slap both of our Mom's to enjoy that again. Now, I want it strong (no homo) so sb's is what I've found. Open to suggestions.

If I'm not mistaken, the darker the roast the less the caffeine. More caffeine is removed the longer the beans are roasted, so the light-roast coffees actually have the most caffeine.

Darker beans weigh less than light beans, so it depends on how you make your coffee - if you weigh it, you'll get more caffeine by using dark beans, but if you scoop it you'll get more caffeine by using light beans.

Any local coffee beans are good. There's a farmers-type grocery store near work so I usually go there. Right now I'm drinking Hogan Brothers Kenya AA and I really like it.

How do you make your coffee at home? Nothing beats a burr grinder and a French press if you want full flavor.

That's my understanding but I haven't looked it up. I use a grinder but not going to the trouble of a press. Forgot about the kenya, we have a local place that roasts their own. Pretty sure my taste buds are screwed. Can't remember the last coffee that I thought was really good.

Also forgot about the 3lbs of green beans I bought with all intentions of roasting them myself. Wonder if they can "go bad."

Windows update added about twenty apps, most of them spyware, to run in the background, bringing my older laptop to its knees. I've turned them all off. The update also "fixed" the issue that prevented Lenovo from reloading and updating its bloatware, a broken feature I've been happy with being broken for years. I'm coming around to the idea that Microsoft is a virus.

Living in southern ontario limits TV's NFL football game availability to northern USA games ; most Buffalo home games are shown here for example. New England games OTOH are seldom in the best area for ontario reception in any case but when they play Miami ( today), forget it. Only option then is a subscription to DAZN which while it has a very reliable TV streaming service also charges $ 20/ month. But if I need DAZN for three more NE games in the following monthly period, I will consider that a steal.
