I bought a RetroPie setup, SNES lookalike case, and SNES USB controllers. But now I don't have enough buttons to map a save/load game hotkeys, and when I play Sega Genesis games, the A and B button are inverted. N64 games are right out.

The soda cans (12 oz. size) in the vending machines are $0.65/each now, up 10 cents.

Holy crap under a buck for cans in a vending machine? Have not seen that since like the 90's. I remember for the longest time it was a dollar but now it's usually higher like 1.25 or something. Then there's Canada's Wonderland, it's like 10 bucks for a bottle of water lol.

For me, I got into work before everyone else today. I put the coffee maker on and then got involved in some work and waited about 20 minutes before coming back to the coffee and in that time everyone else had drunk it all and no one bothered to make more, so I had to make a second batch.
LOL I don't have problems, only opportunities.

I thought maybe my hatred for Battlefield 3 would have passed after all these years, so I reinstalled it. Instantly hated it again. What a fall from Battlefield 2.

Tell me about it. I tried the game and I was immediately shot up even when I was firing back. Someone told me they must have had some BS perk or something. Total bullshit. Then how on god earth do you fly an aircraft? Why they decided to fuck with that I'll never know.

Long live BF2 and the AIX mod.

Snow blowers are useless for wet, heavy snow. I purposely got one that was bigger than what I really need and despite the fact that the machine is a beast, it rides up and over the heavy stuff rather than digging in.

But..but..but ya'll have "free" healthcare.

Anyway, sometime when the sodas were on sale, you could get 4 packs (12 cans of 12 oz. per pack) for $10 (plus sale tax) or about $0.27 per can or about $0.30 per can with sale tax include.

When I was oversea, I had a few Coke cans of 300 ml size or about 11 oz. I did want to bring them back to the States as souvenirs but the Custom agents did not let me. <sad panda>

I went to grab some breakfast at the drive through and a dumb $%^& two cars ahead of me was buying for her whole office, apparently. By the time she was done there were at least 10 cars behind me.

If you're going to do that crap - go INSIDE during busy times when people need to get to work. You dumb samaritan.

Good news is I got my paracord and hot ramen today. Bad news is I don't care that much. The axe I really wanted, which was supposed to be delivered yesterday, is delayed. Maybe it'll come tomorrow... :^(

Well, I did almost die. Fortunately with insurance it'll be something like $3,000 out of pocket.

That's still pretty crazy, not to mention the high cost of insurance. It's yet another cost of living bill you have to pay. If I lived in the states I'd probably just let myself die if any medical issue came up since I would not want to deal with the massive death and wonder whether or not the insurance will cover it or if I need to sell my house etc.

got stuck behind someone making a left a flashing yellow arrow

They didn't understand the concept of pulling into the intersection to guarantee they could get through at the end of the light

THREE WHOLE CYCLES for them to finally catch a lucky break in oncoming traffic

If you're going to die anyway, you might as well sell your house to have a shot at living. I have a good job, so it's not as bad as the horror stories you hear. Those are usually the very worst cases, most of us manage to get by just fine. It's a problem, but not one that will be solved any time soon.

I hate people who do this crap. There should be a law where if you can't make a left within say, a minute, you need to just go straight. Would be kind of hard to enforce I guess. I see this crap all the time in my city. The other part of the issue is so many places should just outright ban left turns. It would make traffic so much smoother. Get rid of left turns everywhere that does not have a turning lane or advanced green. For advance green that does not have turning lane make it so when it goes solid you have to just go straight. Left turns are probably one of the worse offenders at slowing down traffic flow.
