There are utilities for identifying drive.Just had a hard drive fail on my file server. Funny thing is I was thinking the other day how I have not had any failures in a while. I jinxed it!
Now to make sure I pull the right drive out... I have documentation and double checked but it always makes me nervous anyway lol.

Future accident report: It appears that the failure was caused by two screws extending into the barrel…
