I went car shopping with my wife for 4+ hours today so she could decide on what car she liked/wanted. Since we had to do this, I wasn't able to email any dealers for the best they could do if we were buying, and I hate walking into any dealership anymore and doing any negotiating there.
We accomplished that as the only two she liked (looks and interior) was the 2018+ Civic and Accord. Of course the dealer did the usual dealer stuff when we were trying to leave, and threw an obscene high price at my wife because she really liked the 2021 Civic EX, and I had to talk my wife out of any more wheeling and dealing because she is not one who likes to haggle, and is fine buying the car if she likes it (and thinks the salesperson is being "nice").
Once we got home, I showed her what that dealership had that particular car listed at on their website, and their "great deal" they offered us was like $2500 higher than that the "online price". At least once she saw that, she was glad I convinced her not to be tempted to stay there any longer.
Your printer is $25 a pop?Win 10 did an update. My laser printer is now being a pita. Not printing, printing multiple blank pages then works just fine. It's like some of my ex girlfriends. Dafuq?

No idea. We'll see hiw it behaves next week.Do you have Windows set to receive updates for non-Microsoft products? If so, it probably updated your printer driver.
Local supermarket has counters for takeout food. One of them is for fried chicken/fries etc.Stuff like this is why I've been holding off for as long as humanly possible to get off windows 7 for my gaming machine. It seems every couple weeks Windows 10 is pushing bad updates that break stuff.

They have 3 screens. On screen 2 it says "Step 2: Choose chicken", and then there's a bunch of different options/sizes.
On screens 1 and 3 it says "Your Windows 7 PC is out of support"
It kind of reminds me of that South Park meme with Step 3 Profit, except here it's step 2 choose chicken, and step 1,3 ??
I also have a laser Brother printer, a HL-5470dw, have called them a time or two and gotten decent service. Had a problem in that the toner on printed sheets would smear, the prints would become unreadable. It's a B&W printer. They gave me the solution. There's a setting "improve toner fixing." You have to dig into the options to find it. Once properly set, it's remembered. Ever since doing this my prints have been great with few exceptions. It takes an extra 5 seconds or so for the first print to come out. I think it has to do with heating the toner setting element enough. Why it is necessary to make the adjustment I don't know.Win 10 did an update. My laser printer is now being a pita. Not printing, printing multiple blank pages then works just fine. Lol! I bought one of my brothers a Sony boom box 35 years ago when he and his buddy were doing carpentry work together. Damn thing now hangs over the workbench in his garage - and still sounds goodEff, I need to get a real audio that can put up with my shop. Would like a 6 + sub but my neighbor would not. Made the boy a cajone..the wife text me at midnight, wtf? Anyway, knocked the radio off of the mortising box and bent the audio input....spoty spotify...
from experience, costco's auto buying program is the same thing.Weirdest day today shopping for cars.
I decided to submit the info for the car we want using Sam's Club auto purchase program late last night. I probably received 20 emails and phone calls from dealers, and we decided to head to one earlier today to see what their offer was. The thing was, they were not answering the phone. It would ring like 5 times, and then automatically disconnect. We tried multiple times, but it was like that every single time, so we just decided to head up there.
When we got to the dealer, there were like 4 police cars and about 10 officers standing in front of it. I wasn't even sure what the hell was going on, so I got out to ask if the place was on lockdown or something. When I exited the car, one of the deputies was staring right through me like he was expecting me to do something bad. I literally had to look the option direction from the stare-down he was giving. One of the dealership sales people came out and asked if they could help us, and when we asked if their dealership was even open because of the police presence, and if so what happened, she said "Some people have decided to handle transactions here", and that was it. We were there maybe 5 minutes, and they actually increased the selling price by $3000 over what they sent us in the Sam's Club deal (and which I showed them). This wasn't some tiny no-name dealer, as this was Hendrick Honda which is a huge dealer in the SE.
So since our time was so short and weird there, we decided to go to a different Honda dealer about 30 minutes away from the first one. We get there, and start looking at the cars in the lot for a moment. There weren't any other customers on the lot, and a sales person came out pretty quickly like they usually do. He asked if we wanted to test drive a car, and we told him we had already done that and that my wife had already decided what car she wanted. He then asked if we had worked with anyone there, and we told him that their dealership had sent an offer through the Sam's Club thing. He then said, "Great! Here's my card if you want to buy something, so you can just show that the people here". He then left and went back inside the building. From the time he came out to the time he was back in the building was no kidding like 20 seconds. He never came back out (nor did anyone).
Both me and my wife were both like "WTF is going on in at Honda dealers in this area today?"
So it looks like tomorrow we will try a 3rd one, and pretty much buy something there as long as they are a better experience than the first two.
Pretty much all of them outside of 3 dealers wouldn't do the price outside of going to the dealership. Of those 3, two were pretty bad and the ones you quoted above. The one we went today really surprised us with just giving a good price (at least today). They were the first ones who gave us a horrible price to begin with, which prompted me to see what the whole Sam's Club auto program was about.from experience, costco's auto buying program is the same thing.
since your wife likes the honda civic and accord, why not just email ALL the honda dealerships within 60 miles of you for the out the door price?
and goto the cheapest one?
and mark as spam those dealerships that wont give you a price and tell you to come in.
they will forever email you so mark as spam the 1st time saves you from seeing another email from them ever again.
