I upgraded my computer chair to a mesh one, and because there's nothing to filter out or contain farts I get the full brunt of them every time I fart.
So, this is an opportunity... someone should market a mesh chair with a triggered vacuum system that sucks your farts straight to the street.

Hmm would be doable too, methane sensor that activates a draft inducer motor and ABS pipe straight out the house, and an intake for make up air.

Could also force the methane into the gas line to save on your gas bill. Grid tied chair. :D

Both of my little rat dogs are starting to really show their ages...one turned 17 in January, the other will be 15 in June.
Both are starting to have "quality of life" issues...so we're at the point where putting them down is probably the most humane thing we can do for them. We'll probably do them both at the same time. The 15 year old has known the older one his entire life. ..we don't think he will fare well once the other one is gone.
This is REALLY gonna suck. :(

There's a steaming concert I want to watch but there is a price to be paid. On one hand, oh, forget that crap, I'm just a cheapskate. The issue is just how much of a cheapskate I intend to be today. The only other issue is that the streaming is through a university and they would get my contact info which would lead to decades of pretentious spam.

That sucks. I'm sorry you've reached that decision point. It's really hard yet when it's time, it's time.

Oh man sorry to hear. Yeah that's going to be a tough decision. My cat is around 17 now actually, crazy how time flies. Was in high school when I first got her. When I was doing my math homework and she was attacking my pencil never would I have thought I'd be in my own house 17 years later working from home with her on my lap during a pandemic.

I ordered the live stream, concert time and no link. They charged my CC just fine. I called the box office and they said, oh yeah, guess we should do that.” I missed the first part of the concert. BTW, the concert is quite good. The female singer being drop dead gorgeous doesn’t hurt.

Blood test suggests I might have an underactive thyroid. But needs more tests, and it's really tiresomely difficult in these pandemic/lockdown times to see the doctor.

I spent an hour sewing elastic stretch bands on all my 3M 9210 N95 masks... they came with rubber bands that have a nasty habit of breaking.

I'm going through the difficult decision on whether to send my youngest GPUs (GTX 1650 cards) "to the mines". They've lived a sheltered life thus far, they haven't even left their boxes.

Edit: To the mines! Added $2-3/day to my farm.

I have this decorative picture where it's a canvas painting on a frame, and it keeps ungluing itself and falling. I tried to reheat the same glue with a heat gun and reglue it (it felt like it was staying pretty well) but it did not work as it would fall again a few days later. So today I finally decided to just scrape all the glue off and I used the rest of an epoxy tube I had to apply new glue. If this does not hold I don't know what will.

But now that I did this, I can smell the fumes from me burning the glue off to scrape it, combined with the fumes of the epoxy. Probably not healthy.

I really need to finish my garage so I can do that sort of stuff in there instead. I will probably want to add a HRV air exchanger as well.

Epic keep giving me free games! I am _never_ going to get through this backlog! With all the freebies it's building up far, far faster than I can get through what I have (I really don't play them very often, nothing like in the distant past). I haven't even finished Doom 2016 yet.

Most of the "free games" from Epic have lookes pretty bad. I think I've only grabbed a couple over the past 2 years.

I went car shopping with my wife for 4+ hours today so she could decide on what car she liked/wanted. Since we had to do this, I wasn't able to email any dealers for the best they could do if we were buying, and I hate walking into any dealership anymore and doing any negotiating there.

We accomplished that as the only two she liked (looks and interior) was the 2018+ Civic and Accord. Of course the dealer did the usual dealer stuff when we were trying to leave, and threw an obscene high price at my wife because she really liked the 2021 Civic EX, and I had to talk my wife out of any more wheeling and dealing because she is not one who likes to haggle, and is fine buying the car if she likes it (and thinks the salesperson is being "nice").

Once we got home, I showed her what that dealership had that particular car listed at on their website, and their "great deal" they offered us was like $2500 higher than that the "online price". At least once she saw that, she was glad I convinced her not to be tempted to stay there any longer.

She hates hatchbacks. Absolutely hates them.

She is the pickiest car shopper I've ever known in my life. Things like the looks of the car, the interior down to how the seat stitching looks, the gadgets, the controls, the drive style, etc. If she doesn't like one thing about the car, she keeps looking until the stars all align.

Since we've been married for so long, we've been down this road many times, so I've almost got it down to a science on how to make the process as "smooth" as possible. I was actually impressed how quickly she zeroed in on the two Honda models, as usually it is a multiple day process. :p

I dunno - they've offered me Alien Isolation twice now - just annoyed I already bought it on on Steam!

With my wife, she told me she wanted a Subaru. She had been talking about it for quite some time before we were even in the market for it. Didn't seem like anything was going to change her mind, so at the end of the day it boiled down to a choice between the Impreza and Crosstrek. As a lifelong Honda customer I felt a little dirty buying another brand lol. We looked at the HRV and I liked it a lot but Subaru had better features for the price.

Happy wife, happy life LOL. I understand completely. :p

Yesterday we looked at the Mazda 3, Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, VW sedans (plus the two Honda models she's narrowed it down to). Out of all those, almost all of them she quickly dismissed just from looking at the outside of them. She actually sat down in the Camry, but didn't like how low the seats were and thought the dash looked too high, so she didn't even want to drive it.

It's crazy how different we are when shopping for a new vehicle, because I likely would have at least driven most of those to see which one I liked. But for her, 99.9% of her car purchase decision is simply how it looks. Picky, picky, picky..........

Nah, I get that...why drive an ugly car? For me, it doesn't matter what kind of features a car has...if it's too ugly to be seen driving it. :p

No I agree. Nobody wants to buy a car they don't like.

We have our own quirks in life, but wife takes it to a different level when car shopping. While we often butted heads when we were younger over it, now she can freely admits being a "little OCD" when it comes to cars (as long as I don't give her too much of a hard time about it). I mean, when it comes to my toy buying, I spend way more time than most others finding "the right one".

Win 10 did an update. My laser printer is now being a pita. Not printing, printing multiple blank pages then works just fine. It's like some of my ex girlfriends. Dafuq?
