This has been quite the fucked up week...ordered a new refrigerator to replace the shitty Samsung that came with the house, (See the thread in H&G) as well as a new stove. Placed the order with Lowes about 10 days ago. Both were in stock in the Portland, OR warehouse...delivery was scheduled for today (Thursday) Got a call from the delivery company yesterday, delivery scheduled for between 1 and 5 pm. At 6 pm, I called their dispatch office...truck was in another town about an hour away...there were 3 other deliveries ahead of me. It's almost 11 pm...still no appliances...I don't think they're gonna make it.

Ordered a lens filter kit, Amazon's warehouse is about 50km from me, so I figured it should not take too long. They shipped it, but for some reason it went 50km in the opposite direction, spend a day there, then came back to the origin, then another day then to me...

My cat puked in my bed AGAIN. I guess I can't let her sleep with me anymore. It's too bad since I kinda like the cuddles but it's only going to cause me anxiety at this point. Worse part is I felt something cold with my feet but I though it's because my foot was hot from being against my cat, then the cat left and I noticed a weirdly cold spot, I looked and sure enough a huge circle of liquid puke. Freaking gross.

I sometimes consider just leaving the door open and let her run away.

i booked a cruise and planned on ubering to/from port.

well, the cruise got canceled because of Covid-19.
no problem since uber credit doesnt expire.

I think the biggest steak I've ever eaten was ~1lb. I have finished a 1.5-2lb. probably more like 2.5-3lb. steak and cheese sub before, though. I used to be a huge eater but I've calmed down a bit.

The recycling bins in the back of the apartment I used to live in were dark green and the garbage bins were light blue - the exact opposite of what you'd expect for bin colors. I doubt anything I recycled when I lived there actually made it to the recycling center. Every time I took things down to be recycled the bins were full of non-recyclables.
