Eff. Going to happen. The upside is that my landlord won't sell until 2020 for tax reasons. The downside, I count ~14 people looking for offices and not much out there. Dickheads.
Landlord is telling the neighbor...doesn't sound like it's going well since I can hear them through the wall. She's the newest, audiologist, renovated, brought in her sound booth/equipment and just had an alarm put in.

And my $400 VRBO renter just cancelled.

Made myself a coffee but forgot that I made myself a coffee so now it's cold and I have to microwave it.
I am prone to that. I guess I drink drinks slowly in general. With coffee it's too f'ing hot right away so I set it down and then it'll be colder than I like when I go to drink it. That's why I picked up a Mr. Coffee heater plate. It doesn't keep the liquid HOT, but it does keep it warmer than it would otherwise be. I like it, it was worth the $11.

I ended up going home 1.5 hours early Monday and calling in Tuesday. By Tuesday night I was feeling somewhat back to normal, better than on Monday. Today I'm not 100% but I'm feeling better than I have for about a week. Dunno what I had, food poisoning maybe? It didn't feel like the flu, but who knows.

I was reassembling my laptop after trying to fix a loose speaker cable. Put it all together and closed it up. Turned it on, no HDD detected. Took out the 12 screws needed and noticed the HDD cable was crimped from my reassembly. Couldn't get the laptop to recognize the drive, think the cable had broken due to crimping. Laptop is 6 years old so no replacement parts available, save for 1 eBay auction that wanted $30 for the cable. Ended up buying a new laptop instead.

Not seeing the problem.

Got home from work, and a couple locusts lost some sizable limbs in the storm. One was in the road blocking half a lane, and the other was in my driveway, partially blocking that. Had to wait til the weather chilled out some to get them cut up, and now I'm soaked.

I wanted to be productive today but ended up getting up late and was just overall lazy. There's always tomorrow! lol. I find getting off night shifts it takes me a few days to recover and I always feel sluggish. My body just wants to sleep in past noon and it takes everything out of me to get up. I don't work as many night shifts as I used to because of that.

My house cleaners came the other day and they never put things back where they found them. So I went to take a shower after and I almost used conditioner before shampoo because they had swapped them.

lol. The ladies that come to my work after most people have gone, to clean up and empty garbages, never put the garbages back where they found them. They'll take them out from under the desk, put the new bag in, and then half assedly throw them back (like half under the desk, half out, or not under at all). Why not just... put the damn thing back where you found it? I have noticed they rush as fast as they possibly can in doing their work though (I'm always there later than everyone). It seems pretty clear they don't take any pride in their work. Whatevs

Bought a new motorcycle from an out of state dealership because they don't sell what I want around here. Was supposed to ship Friday. Truck went to get it Reno to get it, but it was in the Vegas location. So now not shipping until tomorrow. Annoying.

Turns out Mhysa makes for a pretty bad ring tone. Missed a call because it's too soft lol. Back to the old style ringer sound I guess.

Mine is always set on vibrate. Ringtone is Dr. Who theme but it never plays since it is always on vibrate.

Wife had a conference yesterday. Brought home a box and half of Krispy cream doughnuts. There's half of a box left...

Yeah that's one line of thought on it, but I don't really agree with it. I bet you could double or triple their pay and they'd do the same job. To me, if someone isn't doing a good job, cause they don't care about the work they do, at X amount of dollars, then they won't do a good job at 2X dollars. I guess there might be a couple who do, but by and large no, IMO.
