You put a lot of time and energy into making more work for yourself. Congratulations!

Yeah because I chose for this problem to happen. No time and energy was put into that. It just happened. I originally only had one DNS server, problem is, it was virtualized. Found out the hard way that's a stupid idea because if your virtual environment is down... you have no DNS, and you need DNS to bring it back up. (map LUNs etc) So I made a secondary on my environmental control server. But every now and then things go glitchy with the setup. Need to go back to just having one DNS I think.

Still getting odd ball glitches now, like sites don't resolve at random then I hit refresh and it then resolves. Need to just redo the whole setup. Might be a good time to setup a pi hole and use that as DNS. I imagine it has options for adding custom hosts so I could add all my local stuff.

I was cutting some glass for the first time and I ended up cutting myself twice. Once on the leg and once on the thumb. Probably could have been worse and now I think I know what not to do.

I lost my debit card on the 22nd of June. I called for a new on and and they said it would be 25 dollars for rush delivery but they would waive it. Today is the first of July and my cards not here. I checked my account and they charged me 25 dollars for rush delivery the day I called.

My backup-bank did that, then credited me once I activated the new card ... note however I received my new card in 2 days. *(Key bank)

My primary checking is at TD ... they and for that matter MOST banks in my area can now issue a replacement card on the spot provided a branch is open of course.

I have key. I'm gonna wait for the mail to run and if its not here I'm gonna call.

Wifey messaged me and someone tagged her sign at her business so I gotta go see if I can clean it off.. When they catch people doing that crap I wish they would break their hands and televise it to discourage others. Like cities aren't ugly enough already.

Actually aside from the "no instant-ATM card" thing Key and a mystery email saying my account was overdrawn when it wasn't my "no-hassle" account has been just that for a few years now.

Call them today you should have had your card awhile ago. Be advised you can also send the replacement card to a branch if concerned about it being stolen. I'm pretty sure they'll credit you the $25 charge immediately too.

I won an ebay auction, and nobody told me. I was looking at my email, and noticed it ended today 09:43 PDT. I had to think about that, and consider when that actually was. I assumed it's 24hr time, but I didn't get a notification... I had to login to my account to see if I got it. I'm now the proud owner of another 100' of saw chain. That makes ~250' total. I think I'll be good for awhile :^)

The bump "button" on the weed eater was worn through so I ordered another for $5. Cut the rest of the old one off. Couldn't see how it worked until after I snapped the new one in place. It's spring loaded. Too bad I didn't know that before nor do I have the spring....

Amazon questions showed the part, another $5. I should have just spent the $20 for the whole unit.
Found my spring...in the road. Kind of squished tea ring looking.

I use a PC app to send texts and for the second time now, the contacts information seems to be corrupted for an entry. That means I can't respond in the main window of the app. But I can still open a new window and enter the guy's name from the contacts list. Then, the message will go through.

The point is, that for for me to text this one person I rarely talk to, I have to go through an extra few steps. I'm working for the machine, it's not working for me.

I couldn't imagine. I'm guessing it's enough to dismember all of MD. I used up an 84 drive link chain cutting ~7 cord of oak, and I'll soon have 4100 drive links. I can also be conservative with my cuts since I don't need to fit them in my stove. I might have enough to clear the whole east coast. Room at last!

Sucks about your spring. Maybe you could just get a whole new head, and keep the bits you have for parts.

Sadly, I was hoping for some instructional videos. This loan shark collection shit is becoming a hassle. :(

Had the trimmer for ~6 years. Hate to spend any $$ on it because the engine life is just about done. Edger bought it a few weeks back. Bought the exact model...definitely lower quality crap. Upside is that I only use it every month or so.

Now, if I was your neighbor....3 days/week. :p

kidding, I'm too lazy.

If you're in the market, I've been very happy with my echo gear. I had a brushcutter that got stolen, and two chainsaws. They all start easily, and run without issue. Echo has one day sales events where you can get 15% off(used to be 20%) most power tools(not accessories).

My husky stuff has been fine but a small engine guy I know says they're swapping out cheaper parts. Bought some other company...

I hope your stolen equipment runs like crap.

They're all shopping stuff out to China, even Stihl. My new brushcutter is a Husky 545fr. It's a nice machine; more polished than the echo, but the shaft is a bit too short for me, and it can't be made to balance the way I like. Might be better for the kind of work I'm doing since the shaft is more maneuverable, but I have to watch my feet. I've come close to hitting my toes a couple times. That was physically impossible with the echo.

Speaking of chainsaws, mine leaked chain oil all over the shelf on my shed. Is there a particular way you're suppose to store them to avoid that? Chain oil is conveniently red so it looks like I murdered someone with it.

Some saws are just leaky. especially the cheap consumer saws. I'd sit it on an old towel or some rags. You can use the oily cloth to wipe down tools every so often.

I just picked up a Milwaukee F18 battery powered string cutter - screw mixing oil/gas etc. thing runs like a champ so far. I do have a small yard though. Only annoying thing was the built in string cutter - had to take a file to it so it cut the string better (fricking lawyers probably urged the company to make it duller).
