I don't, I've been meaning to buy one but haven't gotten around to it. I guess I'll be doing that soon. I did fix it, somehow a small Dorrito chunk had got into the charging port, I got it out with a toothpick. Dorrito pieces in a charging port sound like a 1stworldproblem.

Apple support couldn't help me because I don't have a wall charger, apparently the TB4 port on my PC that can give 100w of juice isn't enough. The Apple lady I was speaking to was nice, but she asked 3 times "are you sure you don't have something so you can plug your phone directly into a wall outlet?"

I said "no, because your phones and watches don't come with them anymore" which is another 1stworldproblem. I do probably have 10 wall worts, but I don't have a single one that's USB C. Another 1stworldproblem, shit I might as well move to a Favela in Brazil at this point.

Apple likes people to use SIRI to do t3h math problems, and it works well IMHO. What the fuck kind of heathen still presses buttons to calculate shit anymore?

In theory, I like how it works, but using a calculator like a normal person the number stay's on the screen. Whereas you have to memorize the shit if you use t3h SIRI lady to be your calculator.

This is not really a problem, more comedy, but the other day I bought a generator on a whim as one of my cousins was selling hers for cheap so bought it. I'm in the middle of a server room power upgrade and my current temp setup is that I'm running on a very small -48v battery bank but everything is dual conversion. If power goes out I have it setup so it just transfers immediately to solar. There is no smarts in this setup, it will run on solar until that battery goes 100% flat, essentially killing it. So it's not ideal but works for now.

I decided to order hardware like twist lock inlet, appropriate converters etc so I can hook the generator up properly to my shed and feed through the existing solar wiring that goes to the house, so in the event of a long outage I can transfer that electrical panel from the solar inverter, to the generator, the generator will also charge the battery.

Today we had a big storm and power went out while I was working from home and was not sure if my solar battery would last the whole shift so I decided to hook it up through an extension cord going to my server room to power the rectifiers which in turn keeps all my stuff up including my workstation.

After all that was over the mail man shows up with the hardware I ordered that would have let me set it up properly without having to run extension cords.

Wanted a different color band for my Apple Watch Ultra, fuck paying Apple $100. I bought 6 bands off Aliexpress for $2.25 each (shipped) I have all the colors now!

Welp, 1 didn't have the magnet out of the box., 2 of them the magnet fell off the 1st time I tried to put it on. 1 just wouldn't work. 1 works, but it doesn't clasp right. and more than likely if I tried to use it my watch would fall and break.

While I understand the Apple bands aren't worth anywhere near what they charge, I now have a new found appreciation that they don't instantly fall apart. I didn't expect to get 6 perfect ones, but I figured out of 6 at least 1 would be passable, nope.

I watched the 3rd episode of The Acolyte and have found out it has caused a lot of backlash online from a lot of Star Wars 'fans'. It's a fucking interesting episode about the Jedi and the main storyline of the show. It's interesting because it's not the usual fluff of the Disney shows and is getting deeper into the Star Wars universe. Most of the show is a woman cast, two black girls are the main characters, and that seems to piss off these cavemen that live among us.

Holy fuck we are fucked.

This show is no Andor but it's better than all the other dumb shows Disney made so far except Andor.

Simple math problems. Try anything remotely difficult and SIRI doesn't know, but suggests some math webpage. Or...at least last time I tried. Google's voice assistant is 100x better, and I'm not even an android user.

2.5mil for waterfront property. If you're buying that kind of property, I would say a mortgage is unlikely to be an issue. How fast your investments grow relative to the mortgage rate just determines how much (or little) the house *actually* costs you

I was bored and stupidly installed one of those Solitaire Smash or whatever it's called "win real monies!" apps on my phone. I know all of them are a a huge scam. I played for an hour and won, 14 cents. At one point I was up 22 cents but I started to lose. THE AD FOR IT LIED TO ME. It said I could make an entire day's pay playing Solitaire for only an hour. While I'm sure some people do win real money, I'm also sure the "randomness" of the cards isn't random at all, so you're gonna lose 99.9% of the time. And the .1% you actually win, it's going to be a buck or some stupid shit. I rarely win at Solitaire as it is, but I know this is rigged to lose so that means I'll never win.
