the chinese invented gunpowder and the printing press. but they did not capitalize on the technology like the europeans did.
one of the greatest contributors to the rise in power of europe was its fractured culture - the brits were fighting the germans who were fighting the french who were fighting the spanish....
constant warring led to the need for great innovation and invention.
up until about 1600, china made the rest of the world look like a bunch of backwater idiots. IIRC europeans did not discover bathing in its current form until marco polo visited china (or maybe that's just some tale i heard).

i would have to say in order from their appearance and contributions:
chinese -> greeks -> jews -> arabs -> europeans in general
as far as who contributed the most? who knows. without any of these groups, the slack would probably have been picked up by someone else. for certain, mayans/incans developed extremely advanced mathematics while being for the most part culturally isolated. i find that fascinating. but the advances they made were largely either already made by other groups or soon to be made. by the time europeans had found out about their advances, europeans had already made them. so they didn't "contribute" it to the world.
every one of the cultures i named off developed advanced forms of math. and probably a few i didn't. (i think there were some cultures in india that also developed advanced math.)

After 1300 years (since 712 CE) of subjugation, plunder, rape, and murder (first by muslim arabs and then christian british), India was devastated, economically speaking. Yet, it is the oldest surviving civilization in the world. The same prayers that were said on the banks of the river Saraswati (in modern day pakistan) thousands of years ago are still repeated daily by 100s of millions of Hindus worldwide. This is but a small example.
I don't mean to come across as arrogant, but most people, Indians included, are woefully ignorant about their true history. After all, India is the only country in the world with the dubious distinction of having its history being written by outsiders (non-Indians)! And many great Indian historians have tried to correct this Marxist-Euro-centric viewpoint however the so-called 'scholars' from the ivory towers yell "nationalist", "Hindu fanatic" or some nonsense.
