Half and Half. 50/50 split of pinks and blues (saccharin and aspartame) to taste. Usually something like 5 of each for a large starbucks.

put in my coffee?
That's crazy talk!

On a more serious note, if I'm just brewing cheap drip coffee, and I really need the caffeine, I have added instant coffee to my cup of strong coffee to give it a little boost.

But, I'd rather use decent beans and make it on my french press....

Ohh ... also .... I've had coffee with cinnamon in it. I have determined that cinnamon is an acceptable addition and does not ruin coffee like sweeteners or creamers do. (note: cinnamon is ok, cinnamon sugar is bad)

Yup. When I have been out of sugar, I have used cinnamon to take the edge off my coffee. It works surprisingly well, but only for a few days(I only drink coffee after waking up) I find.

Sugar and half 'n half for the first cup. Black the rest of the day. I was getting stomach pains later in the day if I started with black.

Usually just 2% milk.

If I'm staying up super late I load it with sugar for energy.

Wow, lots of people like it black.

I can't have coffee without some sweetness in it, and half-and-half helps a lot too. Usually enough cream to make it a medium tan color and a lot of sugar (2-3 packets for a small mug, 5-6 for a big 16 oz).

I'd still rather have black coffee than with 10 packets of artificial sweetener. That stuff is so much sweeter than real sugar it only takes me one packet to get enough. Real sugar requires like 5x as much for the same sweetness, or more.

2 small teaspoons of sugar, a little half-and-half or 2% milk. Though, I will also enjoy it with just sugar.

little bit of sugar to take the bitterness down, and a bit of half and half or milk

I like it a dark brown color...

I prefer real sugar and steamed whole milk. However, since I don't use whole milk for anything but coffee, I rarely keep any around and instead use skim milk.
