It takes a while. When I first started drinking coffee at my first job out of college, I did the "candy coffee". Eventually I got tired of doctoring it up and forced myself to drink it black. Now I find non-black coffee disgusting.

Coffee? Oh that's that black stuff I add to my sugar and cream right? I use like 2-3 creamers/4-6 equals (8-12 sugars if equal isn't available) per tiny cup of coffee; multiply for larger sizes.
