Looks great, runs great, rides great. Bought it 4 months ago and haven't regretted it one bit!🙂 -kd5-

I'd like to rephrase your statement and say 4.6 or anyother lower compression engines are better than LS1 or other high compression engine for the forced inductions.

Other then said advantage, I wouldn't say 4.6 is MUCH BETTER engine than LS1.

Since my preference is N/A engine, I would much prefer LS1 over 4.6...There are many N/A LS1s putting down over 400RWHP in LS1.com and LS1Tech.com.

Botton line is, type of engine prefence is all about what direction you want to take in order to increase HP/TQ output.

There are 4.6 NA people running in the 10's and 11's just like the LS1s. What is scary is that it is both DOHC and SOHC! Also I still like the LS1 but I prefer the LT1 as it is much easier to work on, get parts for and is less expensive. The aftermarket for the 4.6 has exploded and it is becoming very cheap to work and mod them.

Hey I totally respect the LS1, LT1 and LS6. I hate that the General discontinued the F-bodies. Hopefully the GTO will give Ford some competition.

Yeah, you are absolutely right about LT1, as matter of fact, LT1 seems to be stronger at lower end of rpm.

Yup, it sucks for F-Body enthusiasts. Hopefully GM will come up with another rear wheel drive muscle car. GTO looks to be pretty decent car, but I'd rather buy Cobra than GTO,

Neither am I and once again I agree. The shop that is doing my work caters mainly to GM. My mechanic has a big ass turbo on a built LT1 with a sheetmetal intake. I believe the turbo iis a t-68. It is a wicked car.

That is a great truck. I wanted one when I was younger. I'd still love to have one in good shape, but the wife won't allow it. Something about being old. I don't know. (I'd also have a hard time swallowing the gas mileage.)

peice of crap cavalier at the moment, but im looking for new car. Maybe wait and get a 2004 next winter .. lol

wow 327k miles! thats pretty damn nice! any problems with it ? did u have to replace any parts at all?
I have a 95 Neon that has 166,000 miles on it, no major problems except few broken hoses and brake jobs.. but now its having problem with transmission and radio doesnt work 😉 hopefull my new 03 Civic LX will last 😀
