I'm probably going to buy a Glock 26 or 29 here in the future so I can conceal easier. Since the AWB ban is ending I just ordered an assload of pre-ban mags to go with the mags I already have. I'm really considering the 26 due to the cheaper ammo. I'm going to carry with hollow points, but I love putting 500 rds through a gun whenever I get a chance. So, what do you carry?

I carry either a Para P10 with Corbon +P 230gr JHP's or a Glock 20 with DoubleTap 165gr Speer GoldDots. Either one of them on any given day. Once in a while I carry my full size Kimber, but not too often. The 4" (actually 3.125" beacuse S&W measured it weird) .500S&W would make a good carrypiece too.

I carry a Sig Sauer P226; it is a bit difficult to conceal so I'm on the look out for something smaller.

Why did you buy an assload of pre-ban mags before the ban ends? I would imagine the price would drop significantly afterwards.

Why? You got good self control when it comes to situations such as road rage?

I'm not flamming you, I wish I could carry a gun as society is crap now but I don't know how I'd react in certain situations. How did you manage to get a license?

There's a great place here in Dallas called the DFW Gun Club that lets you rent the gun, 50 rounds, eye/ear safety gear, and the right to fire the weapon in their "club" for about $40. (New gun rental if you want to try a different one is about $13) I've been looking to buy one (not for concealed purposes though) and it basically allows me to try out different firearms for "cheap".

Right now the only thing I pack is a 12" boomstick that goes "shackalackalacka mother fvcker".

You're joking. People actually carry around guns on their person when its not called for by their line of work? What would possess you to do this?

And no, I don't think 'because I'm exercising my right to do this' is a good answer... I'm not trying to troll or flame here, I'm just genuinely perplexed as to why you would go through all the danger, inconvenience and expense. Surely your neighbourhood can't be THAT rough :p

Arms are for hugging...

And actually I dont think I've ever needed a gun, there doesn't seem to be a point in carrying a weapon for me since I live in a same neighborhood

So in that case should I carry a full compliment of doctors and nurses whereever I go just incase I get into a medical emergency? Better to have the team of doctors there and not need it rather than need them and not have it right. If we all started carrying CWs half of us would be dead in a week
