With all the dipshits on the roads around here, if I carried a gun I'd probably shoot someone out of pure frustration eventually. So it's probably better I just keep my wallet and cellphone in my pocket and not a loaded weapon.

I'm about to start carrying a Glock 22 .40 caliber as soon as I get my permit application back. Anyone carry full-size, or do you keep it in a vehicle or at work? I'm hesitant to try to conceal a 22. I'm probably going to buy a Glock 26 or 29 here in the future so I can conceal easier. Since the AWB ban is ending I just ordered an assload of pre-ban mags to go with the mags I already have. I'm really considering the 26 due to the cheaper ammo. I'm going to carry with hollow points, but I love putting 500 rds through a gun whenever I get a chance. So, what do you carry?

There's a great place here in Dallas called the DFW Gun Club that lets you rent the gun, 50 rounds, eye/ear safety gear, and the right to fire the weapon in their "club" for about $40. (New gun rental if you want to try a different one is about $13) I've been looking to buy one (not for concealed purposes though) and it basically allows me to try out different firearms for "cheap".
Right now the only thing I pack is a 12" boomstick that goes "shackalackalacka mother fvcker".

You're joking. People actually carry around guns on their person when its not called for by their line of work? What would possess you to do this?
And no, I don't think 'because I'm exercising my right to do this' is a good answer... I'm not trying to troll or flame here, I'm just genuinely perplexed as to why you would go through all the danger, inconvenience and expense. Surely your neighbourhood can't be THAT rough![]()

Once I get into a good part-time/summer job, I am going to check into getting a CWP in WA state. Seattle's a scary city, some areas at least.

And actually I dont think I've ever needed a gun, there doesn't seem to be a point in carrying a weapon for me since I live in a same neighborhood

2 I found through a quick Google. I have no idea what they offer in terms of rentals though.

So in that case should I carry a full compliment of doctors and nurses whereever I go just incase I get into a medical emergency? Better to have the team of doctors there and not need it rather than need them and not have it right. If we all started carrying CWs half of us would be dead in a week
