I don't see what the problem is. Her district is liberal and anti-war, so she votes liberal and anti-war.
I disagree with her stand, but I don't want my congressman voting "their conscience" or for the "common good" or the consensus of congress.
Consensus of congress consists of the balance of the views of reps, not all reps havign the same view.
My congressman is there to represent me and voters in the district, not the U.S congress, and not their stinking opinion.

It was in the Dallas Morning news last week. The Hospital is Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Feel free to call them.

Anyone with a checkbook can donate money, voting only occurs a few times per year, and most third-graders read pretty well. However misguided they are, the students of Berkeley are more politcally active than you by a mile.

And as for the list of threads you put up, I'll concede your civility in each of those. Congratulations, you're not an asshole 100% of the time....you'll have to make that your new year's resolution for 2003.

There was never any doubt. But lets see how this began.

First you tried to blame Berkeley's liberal stature on a few people which I took acception to.

Then you claimed I had never been out of my own state. Once again I had to correct you.

Then you tried to debate the recent incidents I was basing my statement that Berkeley was a liberal school.

And once again I had to give you a little lesson in the real history of the events, even quoted someone who actually attends the school.

Then you predictably called me narrow minded because I provided you with the evidence that was the basis for my reasoning.

Then you made the assumption I was just jumped on people in this forum and once again I had to prove me wrong.


You went in every direction from accusing me of claiming all student at Berkeley were Liberals (which I didn't) to accusing me of doing nothing but post insults in ATOT (which again I proved inaccurate) hoping something would stick.

You made the assumptions and I chopped them down one by one. Next time be more careful in your replies.

Well, let's see...I'm an active member of the GA Democratic Party, The Red Clay Democrats, I've done some work with the Carter Center, I'm actively involved in GARAL (do a lot of organizing of events, legwork, etc....my wife is on the board of directors), was actively involved in the recent Mayoral election her in Atlanta (helped organized events, fund raisers, speaking engagement, and such for the candidate I suported...who won by the way). I didn't get invited to the Mayor's inagural bash and the annual Jefferson Jackson dinner for nothing. I don't go to protests, they are largely a waste of time.

Now I'll slice and dice Tex-style for your amusement.
