Just make sure you have the right girl!

Money is always spent better than dressing a woman.

The only problem with her, is that she'd have more fun at the bachelor party than I would.

EDIT: $5k is too much. That should be used for investments instead.

I'm not sure if she would want to, but she enjoys bachelor party types of activities. :D

Work on your "I'm listening" look and auto-responses (tip: Have canned questions ready) and just grit your teeth and wait for the big day. It'll go by pretty quickly and everything will be fine. We had a few snafus at my wedding, but no one noticed but us... well, but her. Hell if I knew what she was talking about. :)

Just go with her to pick stuff out but other than that it's up to her and her Mom. If they ask your opinion, give it. Otherwise just STFU and have a

Trust me on this! :D

Oh hell fvcking god damned NO.

Our wedding is being planned by Me + Her with minimal parental influence. No "Your Ultimate Big Day" guide, no $75/plate dinners, none of that horseshit.

We've already got the church, the hall, and tentative booking with a photog and music.

Unless you pick the opposite of her choice, and then you are a bastard.
