New roof on the house...

Baseball bat through a windshield...

Chainsawed table...

It adds up after a while.

? roof+windshield+table =$250k

Must be a hell of a roof:confused:

It was a joke. IIRC the roof was $100k. The OP was on here a couple weeks ago bragging about how he (note: this was his PARENT'S insurance plan) had to spend $100k in 40 days and was asking advice on what to buy.

In previous threads the OP has bragged about smashing in his dad's windshield, trashing a table and various other acts of juvenile violence and destruction.

Someone should forward those threads on to State Farm. :D

OH you might be in trouble...

Insurance should really only be used in catastrophic losses.

Where do you think the money to pay your claims come from?
Other policyholders who are not turning in claims. They are looking out for their other clients, otherwise they have to raise the rates for people who turn in lots of claims.

I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped you. They are not that concerned with the severity of claims, because accidents happen, more the frequency.

If they do drop you all the Insurance companies you try to go to might be very unwilling to insure you because of your claim record. You will probably have to go with a non-preferred company that will charge you a lot and not give you that great coverage

Good Luck.

EDIT: Stay claim free for 5ish years and things will look better again.

What insurance fraud? Look at the numbers.

Structure: 100k
Contents: 100k
ALE: 50k
Personal Injury, Integra Crash - 8500
Personal Injury, Neon Crash - 8500
Persopal Property, Neon Crash - 2000
Theft Loss, Generator - 2000

Thats about $271,000 that State Farm has had to eat over the past 3 years. I'd say thats par for the course.

Par for the course? LOL. If you really think that those numbers are normal then you are going to have a lot of fun when you grow up.

Since when is a chainsawed table a claimable expense? Sounds like operator error, not accidental damage.

Par for the course? Maybe if you're a rock star that drives Rolls Royces into swimming pools for fun.

Consider this. Insurance companies are in it to make a profit. Have you paid them $271,000 over the past 3 years? No. You're a bad customer.

Yep, neither did all the people in NewOrleans. Can;t believe they thought insurance would help them. ;)

The people in New Orleans, living below sea level, that didn't have flood insurance dug their own grave. Jeez... I'm amazed people don't know that flood is ONLY covered by buying a flood policy through a company (claims paid by the federal government).

Insurers do not make money on the short term, like the past 3 years. They make money on the 25 years that you don't make a claim vs the 3 that you do.

They make money on float, and underwriting margins. If they take in $2k in premiums from you over one year and you don't make a claim, theres some serious float going on.

Ok, maybe you can help me out.

Why is it that SF markets a policy as replacment cost, when in actuality the policy pays MARKET VALUE or ACV or whatever you guys want to call it on damaged property, and then has an additional rider on the back end to subisidze replacement.

I don't call that replacement cost at all. How does SF get away with calling it like that, and what are your thoughts?

Wow. I dont know if PAB is for real or what. Hes almost my age. That similarity to him alone makes me want to kill myself.

Like was he really serious about his temper tantrums and destroying his parents stuff? If I ever did that my dad would kick my ass and kick my ass out of the house. He desperately needs something like that to happen so he can man up (well on second thought this wont ever happen), get a job, and quit being a whiny little b*tch.

Whats with the ridiculous amount of claims/checks/threads on insurance from him? I've never heard of anyone with such claims in a short period.

Oh great, he wants to profit off of every insurance claim. Him and his family sound like frauds. Scumbags.
