Oh I can't wait for the Winter solstice to come back around so I can educate our dear Incorruptable about Mithras, an Iranian God, (I can already imagine his head exploding) worshiped by a lot of Romans, whose celebration not only predates Christmas by quite a bit but was celebrated on the exact same day and in the exact same way. I'm sure its all just your god fucking with you and testing your faith or something though, right?

So using incorrutables style:

Do you believe its fair that Christianity got to steal everyone elses holidays and make them their own? Should wed demand the Christians give back the holidays to the religions they were stolen from? Is it right for them to be butthurt over "war on XXX" since they started the war? Should all religions just stfu unless they are actually being persecuted? Or do yall think we should stfu ourselves and continue to allow the Christians to bring more and more attention to the public money that is still spent on Christian holidays in the hope that it helps us stop it in the future?

Completely well said. Most of the time its white liberals/secular progressives saying we should change it not to offend minorities who actually have no problem with this. Its really done because people are so PC and want to take out the mention of Christianity.

I love how all the clowns who rant and rave about Poltically Correct speech (C)Faux News go ballistic when everyone in the world doesn't celebrate their religious holidays with the same fevor they demand. Case in point-Google being blasted repeatedly for yesterday having a doodle celebrating Cesar Chavez's birthday instead of the (apparently mandatory) salute to Easter.

Of course, the whiners don't dare use anything like the term politically correct. Instead they claim it's a war on their beliefs.
