There have been a lot of class action lawsuits against wal-mart over their treatment of women.

Here in Minnesota a settlement was reached and checks were mailed out.

My sister and a friend of my wifes both got their checks.

Before taxes it was $1.00

After taxes it was $0.65.

WOOT!

Class action lawsuits are not to make money for the plaintiffs, they're to make money for the lawyers.

I was a teenager during the first Bush/Clinton era, and no I do not like or agree with GWB. What was your point again?

BTW, I do like a lot of the things that Ron Paul says, but just knowing that someone like you supports him makes me think twice.

I have no idea if there is any connection here, but us sosialists in Norway kicked Wal Mart out of our National investment fund a while back

http://money.cnn.com/2006/07/2...oWMT.fortune/index.htm

Now they want inn again, they have sent representatives to meet with our government, and they want to be removed from our black list of companies, so perhaps there might be some sort of connection?
Maybe they want to look like socially responsible?

NY Times article

(This was a reply to the first post btw.)

10-3-2007 Judge Awards Wal-Mart Workers Another $62 Million for Lost Break Time

Wal-Mart workers in Pennsylvania who previously won a $78.5 million class-action award for working off the clock will share an additional $62.3 million in damages, a judge ruled Wednesday.

"Just as highly paid executives' promised equity interests or put options or percentage of sale proceeds are protected fringe benefits and wage supplements, so too the monetary equivalents of 'paid break' time cashiers and other employees were prohibited from taking are protected fringe benefits and wage supplements," Philadelphia Common Pleas Judge Mark Bernstein wrote.

"The law in its majesty applies equally to highly paid executives and minimum wage clerks," Bernstein wrote.

I'm sure many on here would disagree.

You obviously did not read the article.

They said the checks would range from $500 to several thousand dollars depending on employment.

I disagree!

No, wait. Kudos to the judge.

Although I'd be interested to see how much the lawyers are collecting versus the average check the employee will receive...

I have my own personal sources and of course they shall remain my personal sources.

Delusional disorder is typically a chronic condition, but with appropriate treatment, a remission of delusional symptoms occurs in up to 50% of patients. However, because of their strong belief in the reality of their delusions and a lack of insight into their condition, individuals with this disorder may never seek treatment, or may be resistant to exploring their condition in psychotherapy.
