No it was. Many of the first responses were Valve could do no wrong and that is how the few posters you continued to post usually kept on thinking. Regardless the other discussion has much more value in thinking and many over there have not said much in high regardations of Valve Corporation.

It may actually have been the idea of Zenimax and not Valve to do these mods and there is merit for the hands off approach just like there is some merit for the hands on approach.

Valve does not exist in a vacuum and I think this video sums it up with accuracy in how Valve is existing in the PC Games industry.

Actually he does quite a good job of explaining everything. Honestly this is the first time I have ever watched this much Jimquisition. I could count on my hand how many times I had ever watched anything from him earlier and think I only ever watched one video to then end from him. Was the one about him testing out an early access game where you wake up in a zombie medical building or something and he could not do anything or even get out of the starting area.

This is when he talks about Valve but it makes even more sense when it is put into context with the rest of the video about EA and the video game industry.

Ok? I don't know who that is and I still don't know why you linked that video. I have very little interest in listening to talking heads and almost none at all with regards to gaming bloggers.
