Does it make any difference here anymore?
Uhh, yes. It's like saying lunch is close enough to breakfast because it's both food.
So you're saying this thread is sort of like "brunch"?
I love brunch!!!
This thread is now about brunch!

.You don't know shit about me or my son. Meanwhile the masses here do know me and how hard I bust my ass for my son.
Make an apology thread and admit you lied or I make every ounce of your life hell.
...and it sounds like you're right back to talking about mods again. No it was. Many of the first responses were Valve could do no wrong and that is how the few posters you continued to post usually kept on thinking. Regardless the other discussion has much more value in thinking and many over there have not said much in high regardations of Valve Corporation.
It may actually have been the idea of Zenimax and not Valve to do these mods and there is merit for the hands off approach just like there is some merit for the hands on approach.
Valve does not exist in a vacuum and I think this video sums it up with accuracy in how Valve is existing in the PC Games industry.

Honestly if trolling or not I do not care if I get made to look like a dumbass but when stuff is constantly made personal then I do not have much care for it.

Calling out mods? Ban!
You mean you don't? Steam's business model is not one of paying for Steam, but paying for content available on Steam, and if you primarily buy retail (why?), you could easily amass $200+ worth of games, without having spend a dime through Steam itself.Do some people think they have some sort of right to use Steam for free?

Not arguing that. But, Steam itself is effectively free to use, from a user's POV, and will remain so. So, treating it like something one has a right to use for free is not much of a stretch. So if you're not paying for content available on Steam, that's essentially the same thing. All this does is prevent spams accounts that people use for hacking, downloading a bunch of free games, demos etc. Seems like a positive step to me.
