UFC 61: Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock (Part 2)

lastnight on UFC - Unleashed.. they showed a replay of the Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock (first fight) and Tito totally dominated the old man..

Is Ken Shamrock a "has been" and is washed up?

What is everyone's take on this fight Saturday night??

Almost:

07/08/06 UFC 61: Bitter Rivals
05/27/06 UFC 60: Hughes vs. Gracie
04/15/06 UFC 59: Reality Check
03/04/06 UFC 58: USA vs. Canada
02/04/06 UFC 57: Liddell vs Couture 3

Shamrock used to be really awesome, then he got caught up in professional wrestling. It seems ever since then, he isn't that great anymore.

better question is, does Silvia get a lucky punch in on Arlovsky again?

Silvia is the better fighter. The way he strikes it's not lucky, it's inevitable.

Fixed.

Depends, if Tito is able to take Shamrock down to the ground then it's over ... but if Tito is dumb enough to slug it out on their feet, Shamrock would win.

Even then, Shamrock would have to get lucky. He's too slow and juiced up. Going toe to toe will be his only option if he wants to go the full match. Even then, he's still gonna lose.

edit: don't get me wrong, he'd kick my ass to the moon in a heartbeat. But Tito would do it there and back.

Tito has some stand up ability.. In the first fight, he stood toe to toe with him in the first round and wore the old man out...
at that point, the ground and pound tore his old @$$ up

Tito no doubt about it. I have no clue why Ken wants? another beating. I just hope for him that it?s going to be like the Crippler VS Anderson Silva fight. That was something. Christ needed a reality check big time and he got it. I love the way Koscheck was all smile after Chris got knocked down. Good old rivalry.
I like Chris but after having watched several of his fights it's a wonder he ever got that far. Whatever happened to Diego Sanchez? I haven?t seen him fight in a long time. Here is my favorite quote from him being interviewed and commenting on his fight: ?Action packed. We looked like two little lizards out there?. What a retard. He is an incredible fighter thou.

You guys realize Shamrock got flash KO by Sakuraba in Pride, and he isn't known for his punching powers. It wasn't a work, Shamrock got caught and then Saku just pounded on him. The referee had no choice to stop the fight, even Frank Shamrock agreed with the decision.

Ken Shamrock quit against Fujita and couldn't even submit Don Frye. Got molested by Rich Franklin, and got lucky against Kimo with the knee.

This is hype fight, like WWE style etc. I wouldn't be suprise if Ortiz lost so another fight could happen and make Dana White's pocket richer. I was disgusted by Shamrock's coaching style for the TUF show.
