This George Soros thing as the boogedy man for the right .... It's like his name just drips off their lips in frothing anger.
I have yet to hear anyone tell me how to get a paycheck from George Soros, and in most cases, give me a coherent explanation of precisely how any of what George Soros is supposedly doing is supposed to benefit George Soros.

Who knows...Maybe George Soros is paying Donald Trump to do a terrible job as President in order to discredit the Trump administration.
I was face timing my Trumper uncle, who I love very much and learned a lot from. He was a master Volvo mechanic and smart as a whip. We normally don't talk politics because I'll snark his nonsense, in a loving way of course. He asked me if I knew who George Soros was. I tentatively said, "yeah, somewhat." He said "He's evil. He funds these rioters." I asked, "Why in the hell would he do that?" He said, "Because he's evil. Why would these people be rioting otherwise?" I said, "Well, they're protesting because they're upset at the way police treat black people, and they're angry about the brutal death of George Floyd." He said, "How often does this police stuff even happen?" I said, "quite a bit, but it only makes the news when the cops get caught on camera". He said, "Well I don't want to talk politics."
This is a man who used to be self aware, mindful and a critical thinker, informed on the issues, kind and generous. He voted all over the political spectrum. McGovern, Reagan, Mondale, Bush, Clinton. But, this is what happens when moving to rural South Carolina from the Boca Raton FL area to save money during retirement , surrounding yourself in the evangelical community there, plus a 20-hour-per-day dose of conservative TV and radio will do to a person.
