I don't think you can support Trump without having an enormous sense of guilt you will never allow yourself to feel and living in that state of denial makes people mean. The way guilt expresses itself is contempt and blame. It's not me that is guilty but somebody else and please please allow me to hate them instead of me. I have too much feeling of guilt to be able to handle that.
