So Abrego Garcia was released from jail today, and of course the government immediately wants to screw him over more:

He's supposed to get 72 hours not including weekends and holidays notice, and a new report claims they'll send him to Uganda on Monday (ie, not 3 days notice)

The agreement with Uganda allows only those without criminal records as part of third country removals... So is it just malicious prosecution or a guy you illegally sent to a torture camp? (A rhetorical question where the answer is "yes")

And if it was so important to charge him, why the rush to deport him before you proved the case in a court of law?

This administration is just nonstop lies and people that supported Trump and his cronies make me sick.

The very least they could do is deport Trump to Uganda though i suppose with his felony conviction Uganda might not want him.

The King has spoken. Exile for you!

Now who’s next. Remember he’s not ruling out American citizens for this treatment.

MAGA just learned where Uganda is, because Zohran Mamdani was born there.

So now it's the new "Kenya".

Insane what this administration is putting this guy through just for kicks. Almost like they’re making it all up as they go along. Promoting the fear of everything and everyone. It all comes down to - The cruelty is the point!

It's not a game show. They're just monsters looking to disappear someone that has made them look bad and could testify in the United States that the government sent people illegally to a torture camp.

One thing I can say is that Democrats should be telling foreign governments that when they are back in power if they accepted deportees (let alone US citizens) who don’t belong there that their presidential residence is going to receive a surprise delivery of a half dozen JDAMs in the middle of the night. No chiding, no diplomatic cable. Just suddenly bombs from the fucking sky.

The whole point of this charade is to proclaim how unwelcoming the US is and to either not come here or if you're already here then to self deport.

For illegals. Mostly. Or something.

Anyway Abrego Garcia should start a go fund me so least he can fire up a "unintended travel destinations" YouTube channel or something cause this is his life for the next 4 years at least.

I believe an immigration lawyer would say that this is one of the worst things you can ever do if you're trying for asylum or even later normal immigration because you can end up leaving with a 10-year to lifetime ban on returning.

The day a man like Abrego Garcia is rescued by force. Is the day I think we stand any chance in hell of fighting back.
Until that day comes, the Nazis must think the American people are nothing but lambs to the slaughter.

A federal district court judge in Tennessee decided that Abrego was the subject of vindictive and selective prosecution. The significant outcome of this decision is that Abrego is now entitled to take discovery and present that evidence at a public hearing. The discovery ordered by the court will be focused on what motivated the “actual decisionmakers” who directed and approved his indictment.

"Abrego can depose the Assistant U.S. Attorney Ben Schrader, who resigned on the day the grand jury returned the indictment, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and others in the Justice Department and the Memphis U.S. Attorney’s Office who have knowledge of the reasons for filing the indictment.

He can also subpoena documents relating to the decision to prosecute him. This highly unusual opportunity for Abrego to pull back the curtain in a public hearing is likely to be highly embarrassing to the Justice Department and the White House. "

The author of the article feels that this decision could throw a monkey wrench in the cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, as well as other perceived enemies who Trump has threatened for prosecution solely for political revenge.

I can only hope it does.
