It's very confusing for conservatives when they look at liberals. Liberals have many fewer moral concerns than liberals do when makes it easy for them to feel morally superior. What they don't see is that having many more moral concerns means they can get fucked up morally in more ways. Conservatives know there is a moral good and the more ones moral concerns line up with the truth the more moral you are. What they don't see is that while believing there is a good and being correct about that, they have many more ways to be wrong about what the real good actually is and because to be morally wrong is a big sin for them, they will not self examine their moral beliefs, assuming on an unconscious level that they already know what the real good is. This, of course, is a tragedy. But try to be kind because while they are out to lunch of what real morality is they still believe there is a real good. That is a plus and I love them for it, but their opinions about what is moral, not so much/
