The Pulse LGBT shooting pissed me the fuck off and although I'm not a gun person I did some research into the gun and type of ammo he used as there were 50+ dead.

Came to the conclusion a 7.62 hits like a freight train vs a 5.56 that hits like a volkswagen.

AFAIK primary weapon at Pulse was a SIG MCX in 5.56

Yeah, .556 was adopted by the US military under the convention that if you wound an enemy soldier, it takes him and 1-2 others out of the fight (if they bother to retrieve their wounded). It's also a little easier on the optics if you don't leave a field of rotting meat behind you.

7.62 makes corpses. A lot of them, very quickly.

May as well get to sleep for a couple days straight, and hopefully some plasma transfusions from 16 year old virgin boys.

Have ever browsed social media sites and view the comments of a political post? You know how there is always at least one or two magas just repeating the same nonsense over and over and just acting like toddlers? That’s how you are acting right now. You aren’t doing yourself or your cause any favors.

Lol Biden canceled his rally in Texas tomorrow

SS gets to cancel or reschedule when caution demands it. It's tradition (and prudent) that whomever is POTUS listens to them when it comes to security. I doubt Biden cancelled it himself, though he may have.

I mean, it's not, so why?

Not like there isn't plenty of Americans that have grievance enough (perceived or otherwise) to shoot at the guy.
I don’t know. Just as many reasons for a foreign influence

But reporting in Biden has directly talked to him. Definitely wouldn’t happen the other way round.

I don't see how this can be handwaved away. This is bad for the country. Someone taking shots at a presidential candidate is as ugly as it gets. Especially if Trump was really shot in the ear and has hearing or brain damage. As far as the election goes - this heroizes Trump and probably a worth about ten points in the polls. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Trump try to say Biden and the deep state ordered the shot. Or Trump won't accuse Biden by name and go for a generic “they tried to kill me” and leave it to his supporters to figure out who “they” are.

Biden/Dem nominee for Pres was not going to win, the goal was to avoid a landslide type of election getting swept at all levels.

Looks unlikely to avoid that now.

They were clueless before as well as after Trump got his ear nicked.
Yes that's what is strange to me. I could understand not really reacting right away but never seen a crowd just stand there after the fact once it was pretty clear as to what had happened. I didn't really see anyone leave to take cover.
