And the logic you used here is how they get away with it. You just don't get it. Whataboutism and bothsiderism are the tools of corruption. Ordinary US citizens don't get away with crimes because some partisan grievance has to be settled first.

Whatever Francis...

What did he say that was incorrect?

This is exactly how they will see/spin it.
He's another apologist. And so who cares how they will spin it. It's the same way the spun his loss, should we have given him a 2nd term because of it?

Barring a complete collapse of the party the Republicans will probably get the house back eventually. It’s not that bold of a prediction.
Actually...there are many factors that come into play. Thus it also is likely that Democrats will keep the house.

Mike Turner (R) from Ohio just said a bigly funny: He said that trump has more secrets in his head than in those boxes...lol the guy who ignored daily briefs has a treasure trove of info in his memory!

So we just let any ex President take whatever they want upon leaving office?

National security not a problem for you?

I suggest you look up why the Presidential records act was created in 1978. You have another Republican President to thank for that
By the way, that president was Trump's idol. He even said at some point in the 2016 election cycle that Nixon was his role model.

His argument is that it would be better for the nation if Trump wasn’t persecuted in such a way, without even considering what the FBI found at Mar-a-lago or why the warrant was issued.

He’s just an unwanted dipshit trying and failing to play both sides.

So the answer is to let Trump do anything he wants? Fuck that.

Meh, whether it's Trump or someone else, their movement has all but won and will be in complete control of the government soon.

I'd rather my family and I not be randomly targeted for "civil war" because Garland or someone tried to be "bold."

Seems high risk, low reward.

So, it seems the Rule of Law is only to gotcha Democrats but we should have no Rule of Law for Republicans and Christo-fascists because they are upset and there may be civil war. With that logic, might as well get the gas chambers ready for the gays, minorities, women who are not born again Christo-fascists subservient baby machines, and all men who are not the proper kind for the screamers of but my freedums.

the excuse making hypocrisy the current Republican Party adheres to makes my former Republican Party member self weep. Trump has literally said he loves the uneducated and now I see why. Over 30k lies and misleading statements in four years at White House and he worshipped as moral man of Christ. The willful ignorance is astonishing.

when I was younger I wondered how Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini etc. could rise to power and slaughter millions. After watching 35% of this country’s population abase themselves at the foot of Trump; I now understand.

So, assuming your version of the future is accurate, what makes you think a civil war wouldn’t still occur? And makes you think you and your family would be safer because you chose to bury your head in the sands of fatalism?

MAGAs: if they can raid a former President's residence, they can do this to you!

Also MAGAs: Breonna Taylor deserved to be killed in her sleep by LEOs executing a no-knock warrant even though she hadn't committed any crimes.

It’s funny how they don’t seem to understand this is a feature, not a bug.

It’s more like if the FBI can do this to me they better be able to do it to a former president.

I'm so confused today. I don't know if I should scream lock him up, or defund the FBI!

People didn't like Hillary because she was a self absorbed conceited person with the personality of a turnip.

I wouldn't vote against anyone because they were a woman or gay. I can think of two women right off the bat I would vote for. I can't think of any gays off the top of my head worthy of a vote.

The irony is that they then voted for an ultra conceited man with a super self absorbed personality and the intelligence of a vegetable.

However, other than her poor public personality, nothing you said of her was true.
