besides the line thing, how is it compared to beta?

is there a lot of pve type content?
I'm playing on console. There are a lot of side missions to do. They all vary by some point too. I spent a couple hours last night just doing side missions to gather supplies for the wings. To actually unlock the wings you have to do the first 3 story missions which I haven't done yet. Takes longer to level up too I feel.

This game looks really uninspired imo... what sets it apart from something like COD?
Cod is a fast paced in your face first person shooter with the same save the world story evey year. This is more like destiny but with better story and missions.

I didn't play destiny, so that doesn't mean anything to me. Is it basically Far Cry with a bunch of people around?

This may be a side note but you guys think my specs below will be able to run this game fine?

Should be OK, my brother was able to run the beta on a stock fx8320, old 7200rpm drive, and a factory OCd 560ti. It didn't look the best but it was bad.

Didn't play much, ups didn't drop mine off until dark and then I got stuck in line simulator for a bit. Made it to lvl 4 and unlocked the base but that's it.

Outside of the PvP area(dark zone) and the major hub it's just you vs the city. In the pve area you will only see other players if they are in your group. It's third person so kinda like splinter cell but more action and more time on target.

It is an loot based run n gun RPG set in NYC in 3rd person view. The PVE side is instanced so the only people you see will be those group(4 player team max). PVP(Dark Zone) is where you can run into a lot of other players.

Lol I used to charge ten times the going rate for buffs on SWG at server reset. My line was only 1 to 2 people long while others were crazy.

People would be pissed, but to be fair my buffs were the best crafted on the server (other than private guild stock) using the best crafted food.

People would get pissed but my service was worth the charge. I then bought crystals and sold them for real world cash to jedi lol.

Can't even login.

Constantly keeps giving me random Delta 200056(or other odd numbers) server errors.

This is on PC thru UPlay.

I'm about to cry....this is so frustrating.

The game is fun for me, but I'm taking it slow, because apparently their isn't any real end game content in the game yet (how can you make a game without at least some end game content?)

My main system is a 3770k and GTX970 running 1080p at Ultra settings. The spare PC is a Xeon 1225 v2 (basically a i5 3470 with an extra 2Mb cache) and a GTX960 running 1080p Medium settings. Both keep a stable 60fps. The spare PC CAN run Ultra settings but framerate dip to the high 20's so not really ideal.

For all of you asking "Will it run on my computer?"

According to the ingame benchmark, at 1920x1200 with basically everything on low, I get an average of 54.9 FPS. Never dropped below 30. So far, it's very playable, I'm pleasantly surprised. I was expecting more slideshow, given my past experiences with other games.

Specs:
FX-6200
8GB RAM
R9 270X 4GB
Running off 10 year old platters, load times are reasonable. Could be better, but my expectations are pretty low, given how old the drives are.

Installing now. I was going to get the gold edition, but I figured since this game is so multiplayer oriented (and I never do multiplayer), it would be a waste. I'm just going to play the campaign, and if the DLC is good, I'll probably get those too..

But not if they are multiplayer focused.

I gave it a shot last night... it feels like a non-game to me because there is very little to do. I started it up, then I wandered around, get to a mission, kill 4-5 guys and call in the cavalry to pick up whatever food or drugs I 'rescued' then go to another mission. People weren't kidding about everyone being a bullet sponge. Blow a stick explosive next to someone and they still take 4-5 rounds to go down.

Probably doesn't help that I'm not used to these types of games but it came with my new PC... I probably should have traded the code for something like Xcom2.

That's only the first 3 side missions. There are other missions later that involve building your base wings and from there everything you do is about upgrading your character/base. Most of the good loot though will be in the dark zone and for that i recommend going in with a decent team.

The whole game is multiplayer focused, so I imagine the DLC would be as well.

I enjoyed the Beta and got a few friends of mine to join up. I'm liking it a lot after a few hours last night!

If anyone wants to join up in game, my Uplay handle is: x-Rapture

Sounds like you are doing the mini side missions. The main story missions are a bit more involved and you might enjoy them more, but ultimately it all points towards going to the PvP Dark Zone area.

The guns in this game are like nerf guns. I watched a friend play a bit on PS4 via share play and that's the impression I got. He said it is highly annoying that headshots don't seem to do anything extra. Not sure whether he missed or what.

The PvP focus keeps me heavily away plus I don't want to devote any time to something in the MMO genre anymore.

The guns have to be less CoD / CS and more bullet sponge enemies. Otherwise, you just headshot and move on, no reason to upgrade weapons or do any kind of MMO stuff. A lightsaber should cut someone in half first swing, and body complains KOTOR takes multiple hits to even kill a meatbag.
