What I hate the most about the dark zone is when your turret starts shooting other players after all the enemies are gone. Then all of a sudden you are rouge and everyone shoots you and takes your good loot. I'll admit, I rage quit a few times because of that.
I hope they fix that. It happened to me too every time I ran into the turrets. I would try and take it down but then the owner of the turret would start shooting me.

I enjoyed the beta. Probably put in 5-6 hours. Completed the missions and explored the dark zone. Good times. I like that it is something different. Seems there is a lot of content, can upgrade/craft items, need to be mindful of your inventory and stash. Extracting loot is a lot of fun.

Will be interesting to see how the game plays at release. If everyone is more or less cool extracting loot or if everyone just goes rogue.

I like it - something different.

The beta got me to pre-order it. I may regret it but I was having fun, especially with friends. The dark zone has its problems as I found it hard to tell exactly how I turned rogue for shooting rogue players.

The mic system seemed to work fairly well. My group turned it off though as we were already using 3rd party voice chat programs.

It ran fairly well on my 8350 (stock) and a 7870 vid card @1080p.

Despite problems, overall I like what I saw. I'll wait to see feedback for the first few weeks but likely to buy it. Ubi has still not proven they made enough game and there are concerns how it will hold up over time but there is definitely potential.

The fact that it's Ubi was definitely my biggest concern from the get go, but with that in mind, I found the beta to be surprisingly stable. A few bugs here and there but nothing major, and certainly not stuff I haven't seen in other games.

I played the open beta but couldn't get into it. I didn't think I'd mind a 3rd person shooter, but just couldn't get into it and didn't like the aiming at all. I think its just a preference thing.

It's bundled with GPUs and legit keys already go for less than $40.

Still looks good but heard a youtuber who had exclusive access to The Division named Marco something actually say there was no downgrade:

FYI, can get this for $48 on green man gaming - promo code Mar20 for 20% off the $60.

I was tracking keys on ebay - they've really gone up the last couple days, to around $44-$48 so I went with GMG.

Preloaded and ready to go. Looks like it starts midnight EST tomorrow.

Had a great time on the beta. Very excited for this game.

Should we start a thread/stick with in-game usernames? Teamwork is key.

I am WDA_Slayer on uplay.

Wish I was able to try the beta for just a bit to know if I'd be interested. I've slowed down buying games at release and just wait till I have time, but this seems like one that would be good to get into when it's new and there's a lot of people to play with.

I'm just worried I'll run into another Divinity situation where I go in blind, then hate everything about it and it was a wasted purchase

for those actually buying it, let us know how the release version compares to the beta version. Based on beta I would not buy this, but if its a lot better at release, I might buy it.

I'm getting it for ps4 tomororw probably after work. According to a leaked article there will be at least 26 story single player missions similar to the subway morgue mission in the beta. Plus additional pve missions. None of my friends have computers able to run it well enough.

What didn't you like about the Beta, so we can provide appropriate feedback?

Mainly the dead world, quick quests and then nothing to do but Dark Zone.
Didn't care for Dark Zone.

So basically is there going to be enough PVE content to be worth buying it?

Let's see. These clowns can't keep their servers running. Can't even log in.

Edit: it's working. Runs pretty great too.

ROFL. "This is the Division." Line simulator.

It will probably worse when I get my copy installed tonight.

Im in game and standing in a fricken line. This could make history as one of the worst design decisions in a major release. It may single handily hurt this game.

I've been playing MMOs since EQ1, this thing about lines has happened in many or most MMOs in the first day or two, after that population spreads out and the issue goes away.

Ive been playing MMOs since Ultima Online. I have never seen a situation where a required mission had people stand in line one by one to turn in. And if somebody tried to turn it in at the same time it would glitch. In this case a laptop had to be logged into and to get it done there were on avg 12-18 people in line single file trying to attempt it. Funniest thing I have seen but also the most annoying at the same time. A really bad bottle neck that should never have happened.

That picture a few posts up is what happened.

Once past it the game is smooth sailing. Just a really weird design decision imo.

I didn't have any issues, I just walked up and turned it in.
