read the thread asshat
Let see, from the OP very own words:
...."I didn't even know it. Music was fucking blaring, didn't hear anything"....."I realized that I could have possibly hit him".........."admitted total fault - told her that I didn't check to the right of my car , and my music was blaring"....."Poor guy, victim of my gross negligence "
OP admitted that he didn't pay attention, music was loud, he didn't realize that he hit the biker..and admitted fault. What else do you want?
Follow your own advise..read the OP again.. asshat.
You might have read the thread and understood that the most likely scenarios put the biker in the wrong. I'm sure the OP feels terrible and responsible though it doesn't really look like his fault from the information available.
Humm...were you there? were I there? were any of the posters in this thread there? Any of us are profesional accident investigators? Nope, nada, zip.
I pick the OP because at least he was there. At least you replied with more reasonable wording and not calling name again. At the very least, he shared some blame for freaking loud music and didn't pay attention. I am not saying the biker is completely innocent either.
We are all "speculating/guessing" here.
