Well, the catholic church does condone killing someone if it will save more peoples lives. There's got to be something somehere allowing torture if the info from it does more good.
There is. Just ask George W. Bush and Alberto Gonzalez. They'll be happy to explain to you why torture is now acceptable when administered by what is now laughingly called the world's greatest democracy.
