:cookie: for an absurdly, comprehensively vapid troll post. I thought you prided yourself on being a Christian, yet here you are reveling in the "agony" of another person. How do you reconcile that?

This proves a point that I espouse, Don Vito. Bush didn't win any elections (if he actually did win.) No one voted for Bush. They voted against "liberals". They voted their hatred and now they are reaping their just reward -- fascism.

I think the radicals have taken over both parties, and they should both be abandoned. Bush is guilty as charged, but he's not alone, it's a continuing process since around the end of WWII. I'm sick of the whole process.
Personally I remain convinced that if we can get corporations to abandon the profit motive and work for the good of humanity we can get them to buy us a new kind of leadership from the ones they pick now. 😉

I don't claim to have the answers, I just recognize the problem. I know it sounds fanciful, but I would like to see some honest politicians.

Probably why I am bitter. I would too but experience tells me that honesty is very quickly hated.

LMAO dont you mean Three Stooges?

Why don't you address some of the facts they cited in their editorials, Genx, instead of your usual non-contribution?

Instead you and people like you refuse to address facts that you can't refute and instead attack the messenger or bring up ridiculous arguments about past members and boogeymen.

With citizens like you and Corn it is is no wonder that Bush and Rove have had such an easy time subverting the U.S. government.

WTFU. Look at the facts.

So says the once banned troll who lacks the honesty and integrity to just admit the truth. Pardon me if I wear your slight as a badge of honor BOBDN.

How many people voted for Kerry and not against Bush?

lmao using those three hacks editorials as "facts" is why you and the left have marginalized yourself.

The funny part is you dont even realize it.

I think it's funny that a confirmed liar and coward such as BOBDN is here lecturing us on morals and right and wrong 🙂 Somebody who has no honor has no place questioning others.

PS: Welcome back Corn, always good to see your venom 🙂

PPS: Why never the fuss on any right wing trolls getting "attacked"?

Gee... that doesn't sound familliar. I have a fairly good idea what your reaction would be if someone had opened a thread with a Coulter or Limbaugh op ed.

Kitty Kelly is a huge left wing shill and has been known to be... ummm... creative in her fact checking when the real world doesn't quite match up to her opinion. Krugman is no better.

So I'm sure you'll forgive anyone who chooses to consider the source before just responding.

Been out a few days please enlighten me on this BOBDN.

Did BBond get caught with an alt nick?

tsk tsk

Sorry that was a Typo. It happens - they names are so close ya know. Nope, it's all been proven as a huge series of coincidences. Probably a 1 in 1,000,000,000 coincidence if somebody mathematically calculated it, but a coincidence none the less!

They are editorials which contain facts. Are you refuting any of them?

The Bush administration has made the U.S. government, one supposedly of freedom and democracy, the government of official secrets. President Bush signed Executive Order 13233 and put under lock and key all of the papers of the past four presidencies. The former president AS WELL AS THE CURRENT PRESIDENT, whomever that may be, must agree to release historical records.

Bush promised billions in economic aid to NYC after 9/11 and billions more to NOLA after Katrina but he hasn't delivered.

Bush has threatened to veto defense authorization bill because it outlaws torture.

How can ANYONE defend these anti-American acts?

If I spent all day trying to refute political hacks editorials, I would die a busy man.

Marginalized and you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Thanks to the original poster for the three editorials. All were quite interesting reads. I was unaware of the seal put on former presidential papers and am wondering what objection Bush would have to releasing the background paper on Clinton's pardons. Especially since "conservatives" tend to focus on those pardons as part of the evil they claim Clinton has done. I guess they don't want any evidence to come to light to confuse the judgments they have already made.

As for many of the remaining posts in this thread, P&N has a well known tendency to cycle between legitamite discussion of issues and childish namecalling. It may have something to do with the sunspot cycle, or the stages of the moon, I don't know. But it is quite apparent that the so-called right recently has had a marked upward surge in the namecalling bracket, and far less in the analytical thought one.

Other than the right-winger trolls side-tracking the discussion with their retarded bickering, some good information has been shared here.

You are now proclaiming newspaper Editorials (which are opinion by nature) as fact?
😕

See that little word "contain"?

I realize it is far too complicated for you to understand but yes, editorials can be based on and/or include factual information.

Not that I have anything to say regarding the OP, but this little tidbit amused me. The right has surged in their namecalling? Every time I visit this forum there seems to be some hip new slang for Republican. Neocon, brown shirt, freeper, just to name a few. These names are liberally (pun intended 😉) applied to anybody who disagrees with the liberati around here. There's plenty of namecalling on both sides.
