Yes, the hurricane is horrible, but everyone had DAYS of notice to get the hell out of there.
What part of "this is our tsunami" do you not understand? He didn't say it was as bad the tsunami, he just said it was their version of it. Maybe if you had your house destroyed and your city flooded, you might understand.

HAVE had my house flooded, and my posessions ruined. What makes you so ignorant and arrogant that you ASSUME that I haven't experienced anything like a flood?
As I've mentioned a couple of times before, insurance will cover the losses. This makes the loss of property completely insignificant, as far as I'm concerned. Yes, hundreds of thousands will be inconvenienced, but they are STILL ALIVE.
In Mississippi and Louisiana, hundreds families will be mourning for their lost loved ones.
After the tsunami hit, hundreds OF THOUSANDS of families were mourning for their lost loved ones.
To the individual families, yes, it is a horrible tragedy. But, when you look at the overall picture, they're not even close in comparison.
